Looking forward to seeing your thoughts on many of the music in this installment of R&C. This one and Deadlocked were always my two favorites, i liked them even more than Up Your Arsenal (or just R&C 3 in the UK). Interested to hear what your favorite track in the game is. Definitely not a common pick... by mine is actually the end of hover-race replay music heard at the end of the racing minigames when it shows your rank as ratchet flies through the track again. For being such a trivial song placement... it goes really smooth and groovy in a way it didn't have to, and feels very underrated. But yeah, looking forward to watching these! Cheers!

A detail that I love is that Angela never actually told the thugs to assault the cashier. She asked them to "take care" of the situation (pay for the map), but they interpreted it as robbing the place. It's something that is only noticeable in hindsight when it's revealed she was never really a villain. Your edits to the cutscenes make me think you would make good YTPs... I prefer Ratchet 3, and not just because of Nefarious and Lock-Strafe Mode, but I do love Ratchet 2 as well.

Even the Ps3 has trouble running the R&C games. That's because Insomniac had to basically hack the Ps2 hardware for quick asset loading and data transfer to create levels and scenarios that wouldn't have been possible in normal ways. They pushed the Ps2 way beyond its limits. It's not as bad with the first one, but as the series goes on they made hacking the hardware a necessary part of coding for the games. For Up Your Arsenal they even burned hundreds of test CDs (up to even a thousand I think) until they figured out how to load everything properly without the Ps2 crashing. That's why the remasters are wonky and even emulators struggle to this day. You need a Ps2 for the games to work properly.
