I wish that they brought back David Bergeaud to make the music for the reboot.

he didn't come back for Rift apart, but the music in that game wasn't as forgetable as the other future games. Doesn't beat the ps2 games tho

@TicklingOscars Animation lol it wasn’t, the gameplay was a lot better
@fagglebag2 жыл бұрын
@TicklingOscars Animation were you playing on easy lol the first one was definitely harder, largely due to being dated and clunkier but the remake wasn’t a walk in the park. For the most part it was on par with the sequels in terms of difficulty, at least on hard mode. Yes, the writing was lazy but that was somewhat excusable due to it being a non canon reimagining from qwarks imagination. the gameplay was much more refined than the original, though not as good personally as 2 & 3

I love how every song perfectly matches the map they play in. The second i hear that first little bit my brain instantly thinks "factory, dark, muddy, industrial"

it is very inspired on electronic music of the 90's like break beat, trip hop, downtempo, etc

Just wanted to say that almost every track in this game is done using an old 90's AKAI disc sample library named "X-static", so yeah it's bound to sound very 90's

Aridia was way more visually interesting here than in UYA
@space.gangsta11783 жыл бұрын
Yeah, they barely had any structures or any industrial activity happening in the uya verson. It was just a bland warzone
@BurninPhoenix3 жыл бұрын
Because nothing regarding the plot is happening in the planet?? And in this game Aridia was just a battleground for a 10 minute siege side mission only to obtain the warp pad which is rarely used in the game.
@hsthatzo80633 жыл бұрын
@@BurninPhoenix But it's still an elite game, better than the future titles.
@BurninPhoenix3 жыл бұрын
@@hsthatzo8063 Of course it is. The first 3 games are my top 3 R&C games. I was just saying that Aridia wasn't made visually stunning or well made because it wasn't an important planet and had very little playtime. Why should the Devs spend time or money to design a planet that doesn't even have a thing to do with the plot .

Some of the planets in the game feel a lot more familiar, like you could almost imagine places on Earth that are somewhat similar. Others are a lot more alien and surreal, and Aridia is one of the best examples. The soundtrack does a great job of conveying that feeling of otherworldly strangeness.
