They could release real books like 'The Book of Planets', where all the planets are listed and everything is explained, such as flora and fauna or the number of inhabitants, biomes, sector and so on ... Such a book could be made about the characters, different Ships, weapons, species / animals / plants / trees ... anything. The Ratchet and Clank Wiki has over 2000 pages! You could invent a lot more! They probably will never do that, even though I wish they would, DEADLOCKED is probably too dark for it to be even mentioned by insomaniac, since now they're going for the "very very child friendly" type, and if they did, oh boy if you played the PS4 reboot you know how NOBODY SHUTS UP IN THE GAME FOR 8 WHOLE SECONDS, so you'll just be hearing merc and green saying unfunny jokes every 5 seconds instead of the kickass soundtrack and the _sounds of agony from the enemies_

What's the difference between Dread Zone and Annihilation Nation? I'm asking because I'm fairly new to exploring Ratchet and Clank lore, but I remember hearing Sasha say Dread Zone was illegal, but in Annihilation Nation it seemed like that was also a combat focused sport.

DreadZone kidnaps superheroes, attaches suicide neck braces and forces them to fight to the death on inhabited, neutral worlds with unwilling participants. It does this in the Solana Galaxy, without any oversight from the Galactic President and probably the biggest crime of all, bans Gadgetron weapons and gadgets (and all but copies their designs) and the only prize is you get to live to make the next snuff film, while Gleeman Vox profits off your likeness. Annihilation Nation allows contestants to willingly sign up and fight in custom made arenas against robots with Gadgetron weapons for prizes. Really? It's just a joke for the fans that between the two bloodsports, one is slightly more "ethical". It's referencing the commentary on capitalism and the lack of value for sentient lives in a galaxy dominated by megacorps.
