Mines ABS, interesting. Back to thinking of keeping it now as well as 74' Celica. Lol. Sucks cuz I sold my parts car for like $400. Can fix the arm rest Eastwood dash kit, to what would look really good imo.

Didn't know about the dash kit. But I'd be more inclined to reupholster it with a different type of fabric.

The new cressida looks good. You're not saving the doors for future mishaps? Parts for cressidas are hard to attain

We have another set of doors already. I’d save more things but it has to be in a towable condition for them to pick it up.

On the unlock for mine I just always Unlock passenger side from what I read I think that's as intended, could be wrong. Added security because people often steal from the drivers side.

Yeah the starting deal with in fact the security system. Since I changed the drivers door / door lock I forgot to plug in one of the door lock sensors. Unlocking the passenger side disabled the security system like you said.

Did you notch out the pinch weld for the wire tuck under the fenders?

Yeah we cut about 1 inch out of the pinch weld for the loom to fit over.

What are the wheel and tire specs of the front wheels they look great

17x9 +25 but I also run about 1.5 inch longer than stock lower control arms.

I used to use the harbor freight trans jack till it broke my wrist…

@@RatchetFinesse putting a trans in my truck. We got the bell housing bolted up and I was holding the tail shaft with a rag because fluid was dripping and my buddy went to lower it and the bearing assembly blew apart and the trans folded my hand back like a piece of paper. Because my elbow to my shoulder was laying flat on the concrete and the rest of my arm was at a 90 degree angle and locked in to place so the wrist was the weak link

I tried for a bit to remove the trim. The clips are brittle and I heard you can't order these any more. When we painted the other car, we just masked around it.

@@RatchetFinesse the only piece I really need is around the rear glass! The glass was replaced at some point, and whoever did it DESTROYED the trim
