When I first saw the Percept racquet I immediately thought of Rayquaza cause of its colours 😂. Great Video and reviews 😊

@@AsianTennisBoy I just also remembered that the racquet also looks like Sceptile , Gardevoir and Meganium from Pokémon too😆 and also a watermelon 🍉. Love the design. though😀

Hi im currently using yonex RD8 a very old model for years already with a 16x19 string pattern and 320 grams (strung). And i want to update it to percept. I am torn between 97d and 97h. I want 97h since it has the same string pattern to my rd8 but im worried that it might be too heavy for me. And as for the 97d the weight is ideal but its string pattern is 18x20. Will that make a big difference from my current rd8 racket if i switch. Your suggestions would greatly help.

Hi my friend sorry for the late reply! I think it might be helpful for you to try the Percept 97 - it has a strung weight of about 326g and a lower swingweight of 315g, with a 16x19 string pattern which is what you're familiar with. Might be good to test it out and demo the racket before buying if you have the chance. Hope this helps!

Nice video, how would you compare head, gravity, pro versus percept, 97D?
@AsianTennisBoy Жыл бұрын
I feel that both have good plow through as their weights are quite similar, but the head gravity pro has more "control" compared to the 97D I think mainly cause of the string pattern which leads to a lower launch. What is your racket of choice?

97D is 18x20

Oh shucks you are right, my bad, my review and comments remain the same though I was getting a bit too much launch for my liking, regardless it was a good frame to hit with!

If it’s so light , how did wawrinka use it?
@AsianTennisBoy2 ай бұрын
Wawrinka doesn't use these rackets! He uses a 95 sq in racket with the latest paint job, this is common amongst the pro players who are endorsed Check out tennis nerd's post for more info about Stan's racket specs tennisnerd.net/gear/racquets/pro-player-racquets/stan-wawrinkas-racquet/16763
