It was famous till 15yrs back, now at present the rates have been increased abnormally, but quality and taste has gone. Sambar is not the taste it used to be. Probabally chefs, master, and management has changed.

Try only idly sambhar here others not worth and you can get anywhere. I am not sure about sambhar quality now earlier lot of small onions you can get now not sure

Idli sambar is not complete without the 2-3 spoons (ghee spoons) of ghee. Looks like it's discontinued now.

Once upon a time Ratna Cafe was very good. Now at Rs. 60 for 2 idly and Rs. 55 for one sambar vadai and just two sips of just warm mini coffee for Rs. 30 plus GST it isn't worth now. Sambar doesn't have much of small onions and they don't give 2 nd serving easily like before. One has to ask repeatedly. One can try once. I am a long time customer but of late, Ratna Cafe has lost its value. So I don't go now.

Such true feedbacks will show the ground reality. Let this get into their ears and let them realize if they really want. Else we have so many small outlets which may not have legacy but give true value for money without spoiling our health

Now the price is 72 plus tax for two small idlies and big onion sambar. Waste.
