Rating all 110 gloves in Slap Battles! - April 2023 Tier List

Welcome to the third installment of my Roblox Slap Battles glove tier list! There are now over 100 gloves in the game and I gave my opinion on every one! The tier list only goes down to C tier because I believe that any glove can do "good" in the game, so there isn't a point in having something like F tier in my eyes. However, there are obviously some gloves in the game that perform way better than others and will give everyone a hard time. Couple of facts about some gloves. Bull: when you click, the slap hitbox will be active, meaning when your glove rises, you can slap someone. I also recommend using this for slal royale training, specifically pack a punch training. Conveyor: if you slap someone with it, you can time your jump to effectively slap someone, but you run the risk of trade slapping. Obby: you can hide a killbrick on a plank, then cover it with a platform. A lot of people don’t know this. Trap: you can teleport, but most of the time it’s annoying. All you have to do is jump on your first trap when it’s falling to teleport to that trap. Fish: if you delay your use of fish’s ability, you can gain some sort of knockback immunity, similar to dream. Bomb: it’s good. REALLY GOOD. It’s so good you can explode yourself to the moyai island. Boogie: it can be countered by getting a radio, then equipping your glove. For some reason the game takes the radio instead of the glove. Oh, and you can also get inside the disco ball by using the ability and immediately jumping. Shard: it’s like bomb, but more timing based. Slap someone and use the ability immediately after it, if done right, you can make them slowed and sent much farther. Snowball: though not useful, you can float in the air with this. You can get a defense or obby user to either use the ability and let you float in the air by placing a turret on the defense, or by building up to a high point, then placing a couple platforms to use the turret. Berserk: you only need about 3-4 charges to be effective with this. You can use a bit more but at that point plague counters it, which is saying a lot considering plague is a bad glove. Spin: best glove in the game, it makes you spin Ping pong: when facing another ping pong user, it’s good to walk forward to pressure them, but you can also mess up the timing yourself too. OTHER UPDATED GLOVES: Homerun: this is a free counter towards boogie, but costs 21k slaps. Also you can stand on it. Recall: when being pushed to an edge by a killstreak or something, instead of countering it by backslapping, jump off and use it, it makes you survive a lot more. It also makes you really op against 100 kills if you’re lucky enough and they slap you. Quake: don’t get this, it’s a worser version of stun and woah. The slam distance is farther than how it seems though. Psycho: sadly you can’t slap people during the levitation anymore, but what I HAVE realised is that by slapping a pro player who knows of psycho and it’s ability, you can bait them really easily by going to the ledge as if you were going to use the ability, then backslap then because they’ll get severely tunnel visioned by trying to kill you. Kraken: to be effective with this, try and anticipate where they’ll go, or anticipate their movement to THAT interaction and get a free slap. Also, this is op in a ffa. Slicer: a very overpowered glove, but in order to get as many slices as you can, you have to kill them with the ability. Nothing else. If you’re falling, use whatever ability you have to negate the extra slice. Counter: this forces you to time the ability similar to reverse, however in my opinion the best cutscene is the walking one, since half of your cooldown will be gone when the cutscene ends. Though the one punch cutscene will most likely kill, the same can be said for the walking one. Also the keypad sucks. Hammer: if you want the ability to be effective, 2 things, luck and running. Luck because the hammer timer is randomised, and running if the cooldown is long AND they know that slapping the hammer user that slapped you transfers the timer to them. Excavator: if you want to be effective, stay close to someone and use the ability when you are parallel to the edge. Personally I’d use this as a mini charge. Glitch(mini-rework): glitch is now a very risk reward glove, but you can use the extra glitch time to get into a better position. Also, ironically enough, this rework, as of now (sat 17 jun) is actually a glitch, because going into a private server will show that glitch is the exact same as it was before. Balloony: this counters basically EVERY glove since you can reach the lobby and back. However, don’t rely on the balloon a lot since they can pop it. As for combat, I’d recommend using one balloon. rob: this is basically just a controllable bob and there’s not much to say about it, so I’ll mention the boss battle. One, they removed some hiding areas in the fight, like the grass. Instead, stand on the tycoon or jump on the higher pillars near the grass. Two, the slam attack is very bad if you’re close to the ledge. This is because the knockback has been increased. Three, if you get there, let reaper and killstreak get rid of the minions. Make sure the tycoon user stays alive by protecting them with gods hand. It’s also very good in the meteor phase, since you can advance the tycoon. Four, one person should realistically be on the tycoon at the meteor phase. Everyone else should be further from the tycoon in order to let whoever’s on the tycoon deal with less meteors. Rhythm: I recommend getting a lot of notes and going from there, if you want a powerful slap, grind 30ish notes for one slap, honestly a hard glove to focus with. Rojo: rojo is good, but I’d recommend it for some invincibility, especially when you’re pinned since you can jump back and press e and slap during the cutscene. Just don’t fight conveyor with this. Hitman: this is the one glove where having a x2 slap gamepass is bad, especially with x7 slaps, since you can slap the hitman user even with x5 slaps twice, but when you die, they get a power boost. I would recommend having an orbit or a dream user grind a bounty and then kill them when they have a lot of bounty, and because this doesn’t count as slap farms (as long as the bounty grinder grinds in a ffa setting) you can get pretty op. Only weakness is that your advantage is the gamepass, which at least 40 ish percent of the community consider p2w, sooo good luck. HOWEVER, you can get it in a private server against the same guy. Retro: skill issue if you can’t beat the obby, that being said, the obby is long and I’ll admit, is hard at the end since if you mess up you do the entire thing again. Retro however, is an s tier glove in my eyes since the ability, or three abilities, are all good, with the ban hammer you can spam the ability with no consequences whatsoever, the rocket launcher is good if you hit someone, and the bomb allows you to pull off combos or escape easily, a very op glove. Cloudy and null because I forgot to update this for cloud: cloud has a lot of combo potential with other gloves because of your ability to basically become invincible, oh and of course, brick. As for null, it’s kinda like bob except going above the nulls(yes that’s what in calling them) will kill you and they can kill easier against passives since people will think to slap them, which will lead to them being overcrowded by the nulls. Against gloves like kraken, thick, orbit, rojo, shard, infinite slap speed gloves, and other fast gloves, it is harder for the nulls to kill them, which is where you come in and slap them towards them. Lure: basically link but way better since you can basically one shot anyone, just slap and jump off and use it. Jebaited: when using this, slap someone and use the ability or use it just before being slapped. When fighting this, listen for that *seoosh* sound, and keep a track of their positioning. Typically gloves like woah are better here or thanos since it devalues the gloves short cool-down when not slapped. Meteor: this is a lot more better when getting kinda close to someone, running away and then using it since more meteors spawn closer to you, making it more likely they’ll get hit. If you’re fighting a meteor user, you can also pay close attention to the animation to aim yourself where you want by standing anywhere parallel to the middle, or you can take the hit and move on, since the meteors that guard the meteor user aren’t there for long, and the cool-down is just enough to make a move. Guardian angel and tinkerer: guardian SUCKS with itself, but it’s op with killstreaks and reapers, it’s basically built for teamers. Tinkerer is actually pretty good and it’s like track if you had the glove after using it, only downside is that you have to aim it. Sun: this is essentially a better version of kinetic, the projectile is very large and although it can be seen from a mile away that isn’t gonna matter when they get blasted to the solar system. Necromancer and technically Killerfish since you can use it: Necromancer is like cult but better, in my opinion it’s kinda the weakest out of the halloween gloves but it makes up for it by being able to force people to team with you and being able to swap places with them,if you want a combo, use leash and Necromancer. Now as for Killerfish…. Well it’s an admin glove, and although it is a one life use glove, it is still, obviously, very op. If this was in terms of the tier list, this would be an SS+ tier glove, but I could understand why someone wouldn’t consider having this glove here. If there’s any I missed, lemme know.

I like to use Flamarang and Magnet for when I actually try or when I don't have any other glove to use. They're pretty good for combos. One downside of Flamarang is that if you slapped someone to death and then slap someone else to try to combo them is that it will first go deep down into the redacted zone and take long to get back up

In my experience, dualist also removed reaper death tags and served as a possible recovery from falling/getting rid of toxic. Not amazing use cases, but definitely interesting for some servers

i can understand cheeky being rated so low, it does have a very luck based bowling strategy (going to the slapple island and falling onto somebody) but i don’t really think that would increase the rating. cool video btw

I agree with every thing here. Hats off. Great tier list.I myself have all the gloves except a few ( mega rock , trap , 🗿, Bob and elude) and I can easily aprove this tier list. The issue is , some gloves have more potential than you think ( boogie, slime glove i forgor it's name lol and some others like rage , hybrid etc) Great job on even making this tier list. Since there are 100+ gloves lol.

If you uh didn’t know. Slapple is VERY offensive when used by the right person. Sure it is going to be used defensively by people who get it for the first time but Slapple is one of the gloves that can kill a fish user that has their ability. It is also very good for killing one-shots

I have unlocked the potential of hybrid, it's probably one of the best "passive" abilities in the game, you can easily pursue anybody without their own speed buff, do high amounts of damage with relative ease thanks to the power and jump buffs being right after one another, and the gravity buff can be used to... slap people off the chain by dropping from below faster?

1 thing to note about snowball is that it has VERY strong combo potential if you slap someone near the edge and place the turret it not only slows them down but also creates a smoke cloud that CAN make it hard to see

I object with the replica placement, the clone basically acts as a second player, and it follows a straight path, meaning you can take more indirect routes to your target. I found is damn near impossible to not trade with it, so at worst it's just a free slap every 15 seconds, so in conclusion, dummy clone allows you to give the opponent less openings simply by not following it, also it can be used defensively and absolutely clobber ghost players as the clones don't care if you're invisible

Hybrid main here, I'd argue that Hybrid is low S tier or mid A tier because with speed you can combo them (basically touch-to-death), with the spring you can jump up and switch to the strong hit which is really good, and the high gravity mode keeps you alive for a while (good against bus and tableflip). Also if you change modes while you have the slow debuff you can ignore it for a while but when the slow debuff wears off you'll go back to original speed if you're on the speed mode. (TL;DR easy to use, kinda hard to master) Overall nice video tho, definitely gonna subscribe.

As a whirlwind main, it can help you with getting away from the void and the knockback is more powerful on the enemy. It could be due to the balancing changes or being good at slap battles but it's a pretty decent glove.

I would say tho, fish is at an equal matchup with detonator if you know how to use it. The reason why I say this is that detonator can counter fish as if they knock the fish user off the island, then the fish user will use their ability to get back but the detonator can then activate their ability to knock fish off again for the kill. However if detonator uses their ability first, fish can recover back. I would say fish and detonator are at an equal matchup on a 1v1 in my opinion, as both can counter each other under different situations. Detonator can be used offensively and defensively, and so can fish, as you can close the gap quicker on an opponent and recover. So In this case you could argue fish could go into the special tier but that would be a little too far in my opinion.

for me flash is the best glove cuz: best in offense, best in avoiding, good at combo, not bad in saving, and legend in avoiding un sugarcoatable death attack combo with megarock also awesome at escaping under a megarock. everyhing about it is good.

I support Fish maybe in low Special Tier, but also counterable by Disarm and Boogie. I also respect putting it in Mid S since it fits in the category. Also Bomb can be High A since it's good now, Hybrid too, maybe low S or High A since 2 E clicks from Speed Buff you get Strength, which you can kill multiple Oneshot users with.

Warp's ability can save you from dying, and has no windup like thanos or adios. This, along with the glove's decent power, makes it a good glove.

RNG Can Work like boomerang. Sending enemies behind you. You can make Kills. But you would normally have to be behind someone to do but you can normally do not. Make. If. You are fighting. A reverse player. You can hit them and make a escape

Idk why u placed gummy where u did, its basically like goofy where it can perform an infinite combo on someone because of the balloon thingys or whatever they are, either they get stuck on the ground setting up for the combo or get launched out of the map.

Boogie I feel is S tier. Can stop 1 shot gloves, can be used during time stop, can deal with multiple people, great at edge guarding. A downside is that if someone has radio they can use their glove

It probably is. I don't normally throw new gloves super high immediately just because I'm unsure of their full potential. Exceptions are of course gloves like berserk where it's clearly just a bootleg one shot glove. Boogie is probably still weak against aoe/range gloves, so idk if I would rate it S tier yet.

I got almost every badge glove by myself except the slap royale (bcs idk how to flick and get a lot of kills but i have dominance and chain which is at least something) and except for the holidays gloves bcs i joined like 2 months ago and i also have bob missing so i think thats good for 21k slaps

Psycho in above S tier, same with recall. Psycho can pull ppl and fling ppl without slapping, (works on uno) and recall can save u from fall, but not gods because not useable on rag doll, and where u use ability, then the place you land will teleport near ppl to that spot. (Can use when u jump off map, then use E and it will act like swapper for anyone near where you used to be.) gtg I would type way more but it’s my bedtime have a good day ✌️

Bomb is super op when the balloony got recently added,i used it and there are double knockback(im in mobile) and i enjoyed bombing ppl and literally nuking close clusters of players(in the islands or they are in a alliance/teaming)

Here’s how you can easily get a fully charged kinetic: stick a kinetic underground with defense then get moai and put a moai above the player underground, then when they are fully charged, use swapper to get them out

Mitten’s actually pretty fun. Let me tell you how to use it properly: 1. Get a friend to equip Replica. 2. Wait for a good gift to appear. 3. Let your friend with Replica pick up the gift. 4. Your friend with Replica shall spawn a clone during the boost. 5. Witness other people rage quit because of a dream/reverse Replica.

slapple is a really good glove if you are good at not trading, because once someone is near the edge, you don't need to try at all, most gloves cannot stop slapple's ability from knocking them off.

Ngl I have become the king of dominance users as long as I can get into my area I can become pretty dangerous. It's also nice for outrunning one shot gloves because you get a speed boost and can literally run circles around god's hands and errors.

theres also a cool thing: when using obby, go to slapple island and cover the place around the ladder with regular platforms, but then put a normal lava block or spinning lava block on the ladder and there you go! noone can disturb you (except them goofy ass zero gravity or moon users) while you farm slapples

Theres a glitch which boogie that makes it worse, the radio in the first slot and go into boogie dance area and you keep your glove, only downside is that you are slow, and then you can also use phantom then go into boogie area and you will be at normal speed and then phantom speed the second you leave the boogie area. So if you combine the radio glitch and the phantom glitch you will become dream but better but a little slower

I understand why half my favorite gloves are rated so low, I know where your coming from, I mainly just use them for fun, I have a mainly goofy/weird playstyle, and my favorites are leash, snowball, elude and detonator, I use them just to confuse newer players as they really don't even know they exist cuz people barely use it, I know that I might be the weirdest player ever as the community is either ultra agressive or trolls, Which are both the kind that wants the kill at the end but I feel like there should be more people that are there for trolling and the good fun kind and not the toxic one that describes "troll" at this sad time

use shielf because of ability cooldown, it gives shield for one slap and the cooldown makes you basically immune if you have good reactivation skills

I am a stun and a extended and a killstreak, reaper AND reverse user. Stun is good to counter killstreaks who are about to get kills or those who are dumb enough to kill the stun near the edge. Killstreak is obviously goated ONLY in 25+ phases. Overall it is a pretty good glove. Reaper is good if you run away or if you have a bodyguard. Extended is super duper good in the hands of a god player (like the good player) And reverse is that one glove where you either troll or counter onr of the most powerful gloves, the god hand.

You know with blocked how you always win trades if you hit first. Unlike every other oneshot, the same thing goes for error. Error always wins trades if you hit first and so it is the best oneshot, with the least counters

Buffed bomb is an easy S tier. You can dissemble crowds, edge guard and even clutch. The buff made bomb's explosion radius much bigger, making it way more reliable.

@@EhtesamUddinPrince i dont think even buffed bomb is better than Jet,because if you look at the bomb's stats and compare it to Jet's,it doesnt come much close Jet's explpsion can stun for about 2.5 seconds while bomb only stuns for 1.5,bomb needs aim and skill to hit while Jet is automatic...Jet can hit enemies upwards and downwards too and of course,Jet has a bigger knockback than bomb,and bomb a "range cap" and cant hit enemies way too close because of its detonation cooldown after being thrown,while Jet can be summoned closer...Jet also has bigger radius...so its superior in most ways,which is sad since bomb takes skill and Jet is mostly a runner or camper glove to spam autoaimed bombs Buffed bomb is definitely low A,but Jet is high A IMO...but you do good a point

Stop is good you just need timing for an example when u did it you spammed them you actually gotta hit them just as the ability ends to get the hit so it’s basically the Nani glove (I forgot what’s it’s called) but you choose what direction to hit them
