Not the case. Maus, for example, is very oppressive vs t8 and t9 but it's not crap vs T10. Sure is not super strong, but is decent enough if you know what you're doing. Just don't pick a tank hoping you'll face t8 and t9 with it. Also, not taking into account T8 and T9 mm is not correct, since those matches do happen.

@@Nick11156 they differ by 50 damage per game. And the win rate difference comes down to the average player being more agressive with the cs despite their potential being identical. Also the leo turret is better once people load heat cause the entire CS turret is an autopen for heat but on the leo it still has some funky angles. And area wise if the leo uses its gun depression it has about the same armor. The cs just also has it on flat ground. Their speed difference is minimal especially if you use a turbo on the leo but not on the CS (as top cs players dont) And the leo is gonna hit more shots due to having less then half the aiming circle (do math if you dont believe me) It just comes down to mindset most the time. They have the same potential and its backed up by seeing the top 25 players of the tank performance on each being practically identical on average

@@Nick11156 Nope. You dont understand how to go in depth about statistics. Basing it off average is stupid for various reasons. For instance you dont know the distribution. If its 40% 60% win rate players that play mostly tier X and 60% -49% win rate players its gonna give a tank drastically more positive win rate difference then mostly 53% win rate players playing it getting a lower win rate in tier X. This is an approximation of the distribution of Leo and cs players as far as the data I've seen goes to show. Also out of the top 20 cs 63 players 3 have turbo in their main loadout. Its usually not worth it/situational The only valid way to actually compare tanks for this reason is by highest potential average amongst their top players. And they are practically identical as i stated. Look it up Source: I got a minor in statistics. KZbinrs that talk about it and you mirroring them have a subpar understanding to say the least

But I believe you overestimate how much win rate differential actually means. If for instance the vast majority of people use the Leo to snipe and the cs to push, even pushing aside the distribution argument you aren't seeing, it highly affects their win rate difference even if the tanks have similar potential. But a worse tank will never ever be able to achieve the same level of top level performance by its best players if it's not good enough. Thus the potential of a tank is only visible by its top players not average win rate difference. + I can't see secondary loadouts in tomato gg. But out of the recommended loadouts from 12 professional streamers for the cs63, 3 use turbo in any if their 2 loadouts. It's clearly yet another thing you are overestimating

If it is a worse tank it has worse potential as it cant live up to a better tank no matter what thus its top performance isnt comparable. example: sheridan compared to rhm. If it has lower win rate but higher potential its just harder to play but better. example: amx 105 compared to t100 lt. And if it has the same potential and but lower win rate people are using it wrong. Example: the leo compared to the cs

I really like QB’s gameplay analysis of the IS-7 and couldn’t agree more. Bad players using this tank will actually do quite well as they bulldoze themselves around the battlefield and wreak havoc without knowing how careless they are being. Average players will tend to play more conservatively and not take advantage of this tank’s strengths. And very good players will bulldoze themselves around like the bad players and wreak havoc lol. I really am glad to see that you have added the Artillery to your list at last, I was surprised at where you rated them, although perhaps it will let the general player base see that the Artillery is not overpowered or easy to play. Prolly the most important use for rockets is to get into position quickly at the beginning of the battle. If you reach critical positions before the enemy does, you can massively influence the battle in your teams favor. Another use case for rockets is to cross open terrain quickly to get to the next safe position to progress the battle. Or you can use the rockets to get out of dangerous situations and retreat to a more secure, defensible position. And if you have rockets left over at the end of the battle, use them to chase down any remaining enemies and secure some more extra damage.

Crazy how different I view medium and light tanks compared to QB. Guess QB and my playstyle differntiate to much for mediums. He wants to play a tank with his armor or fulfill certain roles in a team to push the winrate, which ruins many tanks he views as bad. Though id argue that for some tanks there are certain important roles which are also important for the winrate even though you play a bit more egoistical

I like how this tier list is different from others, shows the game has a fairly decent point of balance. In most competitive games, all CCs agree on the same picks between balance patches, but here you see one player says EBR is god, another one that it's just good. One says 430U is god, the other says it's mid. That is what I really love about WOT in its current state.

Personally think Obj 140 should be at "great performers". Its an amazing tank, it does have an learning curve and it did take me time to master 3 mark it. But it feels its more forgiving/flexible than Cent AX.

I set up my stb1 with a gun rammer, vents and experimental turbo for max dpm and I feel like the experimental turbo was made for this tank cause you feel like you want to go a bit faster but you also need the dispersion reduction. Love this tank

I think it’s too slow for its own good. You always see 50B instead for competitive play. I think the 57 is very good for farming in randoms, but it struggles significantly against intelligent players working together. Bad players are too slow to reposition against most lumbering tanks, so it’s not as big of an issue for random games.

I would like to see a Tier 9 list because that's where the most fun is and where I topped most of my tanks. I have their 10s only for 2 things: pure fun (Maus with survivability build, FV4500 with max accuracy build,IS7 with ram build, G.W.E. for arty missions) or competitiveness for Onslaught (Minotauro, Kranvagn, TVP 50/51, STB 1, WZ 114 5A). QB, I got the Manticore from your advice for maximum spotting with bon equipment on it. I was going for CS-63 but I HATE the gun handling of that tank and sold it and stayed with CS-53 at tier 9 because the gun handling is just pure joy compared to tier 10, i can't wait for the tier 9 to get turbo charge at some point.

I know the Type 71 isn't for everyone, I personally really like it and would like a slight buff to hull armor on it. but I just cant get over the ROF and accuracy on a heavy tank like that. If you can stay at range and hull down it does really well for me. That is playing on the NA servers of course.

47:12 Foch 155 has to be one of my top 5 tanks in the game. Set it up with rotation device, durability, and exp turbo and play aggressive with it is very fun. Holds my second highest damage record ( only behind the fv4005 ) and hoping to set an account record in it. So much better than the Foch b for me

E100 is more F2P friendly with the 128 because its more accurate. The 150mm has too much German rng so it is likely to cause players to get hit more often when they aim for too long.

I love the AMX 30B. You set it up with bounty exhaust, commanders vision and bond optics, it is absolutely disgusting at anti scout and reconnaissance. It has a very solid gun, the problem most people run into is it is a very DISCIPLINE based tank. You can’t always expect to snap shots in, you can’t always expect to rely on your armor (u usually can’t) but it’s not always auto pen in the front like something like a Leapord; you basically can turn a medium with most if not all of the capabilities of a medium (minus the armor) into a pretty terrifying anti scout/recon support vehicle. It’s view range is already top in class at 420; most wouldn’t add more because of this but truly bringing it up past 500 on top of a vision system turns you into a light tank with medium tank capacity, that’s a beacon of extreme vision breaking all the enemy camo. You also don’t need to improve the firepower at all with equipment on the tank, imo; if you feel like you need to, it is a skill issue, I am not sorry (especially with the crew skill rework). A secondary load-out for something like Himmelsdorf (any map with ZERO bushes or need for scouting; you really should set it up as a recon vehicle because it’s gun stats are really pretty good for the most part), turbo, vents and exhaust/rammer/accuracy device. But again, most people (like QB) just don’t have the discipline to truly do well with it. It requires discipline and patience and being methodical. You don’t have to try hard, you just have to not let yourself get overconfident or cocky; if you learn it and understand the extents of the vehicle, most would be pleasantly surprised. It’s not a one off thing either; I truly think this might be the best T10 medium to set up as an anti scout and reconnaissance medium powerhouse. EDIT: I did it, 3 marked on Christmas day letss gooooo!!! Time to make a video 😎

I respect you mate for being original. I like when people prefer something unique, rather than just playing what majority does play. I also had in mind one day to buy 30B, but i think that tank needs slight adjustments. When you look at few other meds like Cent, Leo, Vickers, all these tanks have still better dispersion, while also better mobility. 30B have great dpm, but i think dpm today is sort "overrated" stat yk? People usually aren't that dumb to stay too long on one spot when they got shot. So what it means higher alpha today seems to be better rather than dpm alone. Also 30B has kinda low pene, so that affect the dpm aswell, cauz you ain't gonna pen all those shots. When you combine that with the "meh" dispersion, also lowers the chance of fully using the "on paper" great dpm. Also another downside to this beautiful boy, is his shell velocity. 1100 on apcr on X tier is really bad. 800 on HEAT is also terrible, but on HEAT it isn't that big of a problem, since we using HEATs usually on slow heavies. So realisticaly 30B has good camo, good view range and that's pretty much it. I think 30B if WG buffed it's pene, slight buff to dispersion and at least buff apcr shell velocity, could change a lot. Propably also the terrain resist buff. Because 30 has very bad terrain resist + it has kinda weak engine compared to other meds. It needs some work.

⁠​⁠@@wotMidroidjust from playing it today I didn’t really have any issues with the engine and I personally don’t really have issues with the pen or the alpha. I did notice coming back the meta seems to be alpha, and I am a player who always prefers alpha damage and not raw dpm output, but more so the DPM is a nice advantage when you need to go all in with it. It really could be that I just have a really good crew, but I really don’t run into any of the issues most have with it. I dont even spam gold; my plan is to finish three marking it later today when I wake up, I haven’t been spamming gold or felt a need to. I think it only needs a shell velocity buff if anything, because that would be nice, otherwise I dont think it needs any buffs because it can legitimately be disgusting effective surprisingly often, but again, maybe I am just good or it’s my crew

Having different preferences is understandable, but come one Leo 1 is arguably the best tier 10 med even only because of the gun and even more so with the mobility. As the very least it's super competitive

I will stand by this, ladies and gentleman the M60s armor has just been there for me time and time again. I have my highest damaged blocked on my account in this vehicle at 9.1k and its gun is just TO ME amazing. Absolutely love this vehicle alongside with Quackybabs himself.

@QuickyBabyTV Thanks for all of your content :) You mention that you have not yet made your Carro 45 t work for you, which confused me, since I find the tank quite good to play. What made the difference for me, were as follows: Equipment: Vents, Accuracy Improvement System (T2 and above - T1 does not make a difference) and Mobility Improvement System T3 (could make it work with T2). I do not have any field mods yet, which might explain why this equipment combination works.

Tesak is an easy buff, more pen on standard and gold, and veiwrange because of its size being between the Rhm pzw and the Sheridan which both have 420m. Wz-132-1 give it a 122mm gun with 440 alpha and then go down the techtree and give them all above average gunsize and alpha.
