Rating Amazon LITTER PICKERS (because we all hate trash!)

Hi Sarah, THANK YOU for picking up litter. As an inveterate trash fighter, I love to see others taking some time to clean up their neighborhoods. If you happen to pick up litter on your walks anytime in the future, I highly recommend using a 5-gallon bucket. They are much easier to handle (especially if it's breezy at all), have a nice wide mouth, and as a bonus it's pretty easy to stomp down the trash if you need more room (assuming your foot is small enough). Anyone with a picker and a 5-gallon bucket can make a difference in the fight against trash!

Videos like these that I'm thankful about. It makes our life so much easier to choose and shop wisely. Saving our time and money. So anyway I ended up searching for videos on the internet relating to picking up litters coz I wanted to help my spouse and support him with his new job.

#3 looks like they can be giant BBQ tongs. I like that #1 came in two pieces...for easy carrying in a backpack or for travel. But in the end it is all about the grabbiness, so # 2 it is. Maybe your neighborhood was celebrating the return of Lord Stanley!

#3 is the one I was looking for thanks so much. #3 is the one they make us use on the community service crew in Cleveland.

I personally like 1 & 2, but the sad fact is... they will break at some point because they operate on a spring mechanism. #3 has no spring and can potentially last forever. My litter picker is like your #1 on the grabby end, but with a better handle. I can't remember the exact name, but it says RMS on it and it's yellow and black in color. It's lasted me longer than any other litter picker and I've been through MANY.

I definitely agree that #2 seems the most reliable, but #3 looks like giant eyebrow tweezers! Can't go wrong there! It's a bit of a toss-up for me 😂

Hey Sarah, it's Kim Roberts from the SWC. I loved the reviews. My hand would have the same issue with #3. I think we'll have to try #2 soon! Sorry that people are using your neighborhood as a place to drop off their alcohol empties!

#2 doesn't hold up well to extreme use, we used those a few years ago doing river cleanups and they did not hold up well.
