Yeah, I've seen the difference in capuccino example. First one was a clear, perfectly understandable phrase, second one was mumbling. 😄

What I don't understand is why they don't change the casting if the actor doesn't seem to reach the level of accent to "pass"... Idris Elba for example surprised me a lot when I found out he is not actually from the US, he nails American accent.

... and also they want to draw the audience from both sides of the Atlantic ocean... the combination of a commercially successful face with a different accent does this quite easily 🙂

I totally agree, your dialect and accent should always feel natural. It definitely should not feel like a brand new pair of shoes. Alright (Aight) that's how I say Alright as of late. Let's just say, I was trying to quickly say the word alright without taking too much time saying it. That & there was a game on Nintendo DS lite where one of the characters said "I" as in aye yai yai I guess Caz it makes it easier & shorter. I like it, & there's an actor I like (he's playing the main) the movie The Meg if you remember that one. I believe he's actually British though. I don't remember he's name, Caz I'm bad with names. Oh yeah, I play music & games, and love anime. I'm also from. NYC, The Bronx. I've noticed though, that a lot of people here speak a lot of Spanish. Funny Caz I was Born in Puerto Rico. I'm mixed though & White as a mother f****. With some tan of course. But because I don't really leave my apartment very often. I don't really get as tan as I used to back in highschool. I get burnt easily from the Sun & peel a lot on the back mostly. I only speak English. But I wanted to make sure I said a lot of the words. I say constantly, making sure I'm not slacking off in the only language I know. I subscribe to this channel, really just because there are words I don't know yet, I've been learning more English words. I've learned more pronunciations, I've even learned what words don't exist versus what does. I guess the reason why I subscribe to this channel. Is because I'm really bored. 😅
