I think an important thing to note about It Calls Me is that you can choose how many cards to shuffle back or even choose not to shuffle any, and I think that makes a huge difference in its viability in competitive play. I don't think it's something that will be seen often but it is a card that I'd say is good enough to consider running as a flex option.

It's inkable and replaces itself for cheap. It could be played in a Jafar deck to help find combo pieces as well as gain a lore from the combo. I think it will see play like a lesser Develop your Brain or Nothing to Hide in purple.

So I don’t think it changes the “star” of queens castle. That card is still far and away the best location like it’s kinda crazy that it’s only 1 move cost, inkable, has 2 lore, and draws a billion cards. BUT it doesn’t work with Jafar bc you would ready jafar before you draw off the location.

@@Camille_Boomer77000 yea I didn’t want to take away from the evaluation of the card. It’s still insane and when you look at the other locations it’s even crazier that this is inkable, has 2 lore, 1 move cost, and does a strong thing. Just wanted to clarify the misconception of its synergy with Jafar. Ppl keep thinking this and sad beast work with jafar but they don’t.

Do not underestimate “Last Ditch Effort”. Olaf or Kuzco taking out Ursula is VERY rewarding!

Hydros is different than Elsa because Hydros can exert your own Jafarrr i mean character. Small difference, maybe important?

I think saying that Genie is just better than Rabbit is very ambitious. Genie has no guarantee where rabbit does. I do think genie is good though

For moving damage, that gets around resist, correct? Specifically because it's not being dealt?

Afaik Kida Legendary effect stays on the card so after Rafiki gains +3 from challenger, her -3 effect would drop him to 0.

Quick question: you said floodborn jafar would like the Queen's castle for the card draw mechanic. What happens first on your turn gaining the lore and the draw benefit or readying your characters? I have been thinking Ready, Set, Draw and how it applies to the locations. I assumed during the Set phase is when start of turn effects trigger, therefore this is when locations would gain you lore and when Queen Castle would draw cards. If so, you have already done the Ready phase so Jafar isnt exerted so you dont gain lore from the card draw effect. Correct me if im wrong, i just want to make sure im doing the interaction of cards and phases correctly.

You are correct. Ready readies the Jafar, then Set draws you the cards from the Castle.
