*JUST A REMINDER* This video focuses on the animal aspects of Animal Kingdom only for those that treat this more like a zoo - and I purposefully left out most of the 'theme park' attractions, and other tips that you would otherwise find in Disney blog videos. However, whatever I left out, there's a good chance it will get a mention on my usual tours:). If you would like to watch ALL THINGS DISNEY - I recommend this channel: kzbin.info As it goes with every Florida related video, a TREE OF LIFE sized THANK YOU is owed to my good friend Johnny - who provided a giant chunk of footage for this and upcoming Disney videos. About the safari ride. The ending bit used something different from a warden camp. The ride used to have this interwoven plot where during your safari, a notable elephant and her baby were taken by poachers and the ride ends with your vehicle tailing them to a poacher camp where the baby’s rescued. (In the staff previews of the ride, the mother wasn’t so lucky…)

This video reminded me why Animal Kingdom is my all-time favorite Disney Park. I went in February and got to see Cora the baby elephant. Great work as always, Zach 👍🏽

Been to Disney's Animal Kingdom back in 2005 after my elementary school graduation!😁🐘Say, Zak, try to visit the Guangzhou Safari Park someday because I've been there before & it has lots of tigers there! And plus, just 2 zoo trivia questions for you & your girlfriend.... 1) How many years ago did the Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium house both gaurs & African Wild Dogs? 2) What years did the Maharajah Jungle Trek at Disney's Animal Kingdom once house Malayan Tapirs before they moved out to a local zoo? Stuff & Eucentrosaurus!🐆🐆🐆🐆

Oh my gosh, Zach! This is such an awesome video. I’m so glad you covered both DAK and DAK Lodge. My mom and I just stayed at DAK Lodge and we enjoyed it all. Plus we have done both Caring For Giants and Wild Africa Trek. Both totally worth it. On another note, I cheered when I saw the 50/50 rating you gave Kilimanjaro Safaris! That’s my favorite Disney Park attraction of all time and I’ve been making KZbin videos of my safaris for years. Well done, Zach and Johnny! Keep up the good work and, as they say in Harambe, Kwaherini! Go well!

It’s the best zoo. It’s why I do a podcast about the park and the lodge. I LOVE it

I actually stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge with my mom, aunt and cousin. And it was a lot of fun. We also went to Epcot’s The Seas and I finally had the courage to ride Dinosaur.

As someone who spends like 30 hours a week at DAK I'd say these are pretty spot on.... I've also gotten to stay at DAK Lodge a couple years ago and by far my favorite Disney resort Highly recommend

“The happiest otters in the world because, of course, they’re at Disney.” I know I’d be super happy if I was at Disney too, especially if I got to meet Mickey and Minnie. As a Disney fan and zoo enthusiast, I really want to go back here again.

Hey Zach, it has been announced that Dinoland USA will be reimagined around the American tropics, with attractions based on Indiana Jones and Encanto.

I hope they have the room to add an animal trail for that section too.

I was lucky enough to grow up with parents who were part of the Disney Vacation Club so we got to go to Disney World pretty much yearly as our big family trip. While that has grown into nostalgia and love for all four Disney World parks, Animal Kingdom stands far and away my absolute favorite and I genuinely attribute going so many times and talking to the keepers, educators, etc. for why I work as a zookeeper today. It's my all time favorite facility, I don't think there's a bad exhibit, and I 100% agree with you that it's a must visit for any animal or zoo lover

Real quality content! You said there are baby tamarins "right now", and I thought "meh, probably last year", but the video is brand new, and I'm going in eight days! 😊 I was there in 2000, but as I was just a kid, I only have very vague memories.

I was just there the other day and somehow i missed the wallabies, i swear i have a wallaby curse as with thr exception of Yellow-Footed Rock Wallaby i can never see them lol, i also didnt get to see the blackbuck or the Kea occasionally used in the bird show, but other than that it was a great visit, i especially was excited to see my first Lion-tailed macaques!

For any rumored south American section they are talking about they need to bring in live animals like jaguars capybaras and the like
@chasechristophermurraydola93146 ай бұрын
I completely agree with you on that but I also feel that they need to bring in live Andean bears aka spectacled bears and also bring in Cougar, Jaguar of course, Tapirs, Maras, Armadillos, Sloths, Pudu or Brocket deer, Giant River otters, Jaguarundi, ocelot, Margay, Vampire bats and if they can Amazon river dolphins and Amazon Manatees, Orinoco crocodiles, Annaconda.

Could you at least make a bonus video to talk about some animals in Dinoland USA because I was there in 2021 and I saw they have interesting animals like an American crocodile 🐊.

Dino-Land was definitely supposed to get a longer mention. However, of course, out of all the footage that I gained over 3 trips, the Crocodile ones went missing.

If I had to chose too one park at WDW for one day. The Animal Kingdom would be it.The animals feel more like in their natural eviroment. When Disney redo DINO-LAND and turn into TROPICAL AMERICANS, I hope they build an story and themeing around TROPICAL AMERICANS, instead relying on IP'S.For example, ASIA has two ride attractions, that's not base on an IP.

I visited DAK in 2022, and I have to say that out of the three major animal attractions, I found Kilimanjaro Safaris to be the weakest of them. While it works as a themepark attraction, it simply doesn't work for me as a zoo exhibit since it moves way too quickly. There's a lot of educational value to being able to stay in one spot and simply observe animals, and that's something that's not possible in Safaris. Don't get me wrong- Safaris contains the best hippo and one of the best elephant exhibits in the country- but that alone doesn't compensate for its flaws from the visitor and educational perspectives.
