My favourite team in the whole of IPL ever since I started watching, especially this year was Delhi Capitals. Everyone was either praising SRH or KKR or RCB, but Delhi Capitals, according to me has played the most fearless and one of the most intelligent brands of cricketing I’ve ever seen. Their team had a lot of flaws, no doubt about it, but right from Jake Fraser, McGurk hitting sixes to Bumrah, to Tristan Stubbs innings to Rishabh Pant, attempting a brave 270+chase and their bowling lineup was super underrated. I really wished DC had won in 2020. I honestly somehow thought that Pant would be Delhi Capitals ka Virat Kohli, maybe he somewhere knew that he didn’t want to end up like Virat Kohli. Loyal but trophy less.

@@AbhinavKumar-od9qg same here❤ though I don’t know whether Akshar will be able to take up the pressures of captaincy or not. Someone like Faf is an experienced captain. Though he’s not an Indian, but if you look at RCB’s leadership under Faf, he has done a pretty decent job especially last year when there was no hope of RCB reaching the play-offs. The main issue honestly with Delhi is the dual management.

Delhi has a solid squad on paper but they aren't getting the deserved hype becoz of their past track record. But this could be a blessing in disguise as they can then become the ultimate underdogs and surprise everyone. Hoping for a good season from DC 🤞🏻

You can try weighted averages to calculate this as well. Not all parameters are as crucial in teams winning IPL. Openers, PP bowling, Finishers and captaincy should get higher weightage rather than similar to all other parameters. Once you do that, you will get linear equations of how the teams are looking. Just a suggestion
