1. Play Date (my prayers have been heard, I‘ve been asking for Melanie for about 6 years now and finally getting one of her songs in the game is honestly the best gift imaginable, hope we get to see her in future projects, already manifesting for Drama Club and Mad Hatter, I also adore the animated map, it‘s so Melanie coded, you kinda feel uneasy with it, which is absolutely perfect!!!) (10/10) 2. Espresso (I love Sabrina and her achieving the success she deserves is absolutely wonderful to see, I‘m glad she‘s back in Just Dance with such a banger (manifesting for Feather too!), I first discovered her with Thumbs back in 2017 and I honestly need more music of her, she‘s such a mood, map is also really nice, although I would‘ve wished for a new coach and not another reused one) (9/10) 3. Training Season (DINAH IS A COACH!!! I‘m so proud of her, first Avery and now her, the styling also screams Dinah, this is her exact wardrobe for her livestreams and KZbin videos. I really hope more KZbinrs get to be dancers in the future, this really warms my heart, to the song, I love Dua and her maps are always very good, the song isn‘t my favorite, better than Levitating but there‘s better ones) (9/10) 4. Lunch (Billie is also back, thank you Just Dance!!! After the disappointment from last year, I was wishing for a new Billie coded map, I just don‘t care about the lore and to make a choreogrpahy focusing on Sara and Night Swan, it just didn‘t fit for me, the song is awesome, I in general love her new album, so I have no complaints) (9/10) 5. Espresso Hairsalon Version (love how many seated maps we’re getting this year, I feel like they really wanna include everyone this year, which is absolutely amazing, I like the theme they went with, the choreo is also really cute, it‘s like Chantaje, not many seated maps convince me but I‘m gonna dance this a lot with my friends) (8/10) 6. Sunlight (I like the coaches wardrobe, I sometimes prefer a more simple everyday wear in the game, the easter eggs are also really good and the song is also quite nice, a good map for me, no complaints) (7/10) 7. Spongebob‘s Birthday (Spongebob is the cartoon I watched the most growing up, so it‘s kinda sweet to see him in Just Dance alongside Patrick, I‘m not entirely sure what to think of this map, it‘s ok, that‘s all) (5/10) For the final week I‘m pretty happy, still missing 6 maps and with all the leaks I saw I‘m not sure if all the maps will be put into the game, atleast it‘s only 6 more days until we can dance to a new bunch of music again, thanks again for the weekly song rankings Franki, it was fun to rank and rate them with you again :)

Some really big songs in this final week!! Here's what I thought about them... 7. Play Date 🧸 I've wanted Melanie to feature in these games for so long as well, and I totally agree that it just feels weird when the coaches aren't humans. I've always had so many ideas in my head about what a map for a Melanie song could look like, and yes it's got the creepy vibes, but this isn't really it. I don't know, I'm just not a fan of how it looks, but the song is of course good and the ideas behind the map are in the right place, but I would find the choreo hard to follow because... it's not a human!! 6. Espresso ☕️ AAH I know this song's been getting so much attention recently and so many people have wanted it to feature, but then it does aaaand... the CHOREO!! What is that???? It could have been so much better, but they've hit it right visually at least. 5. Lunch 🥤 I don't really know this song that well but it's higher than Espresso and Play Date because everything feels right, from the coach to the choreo, which is what they've successfully done with every Billie map so far!! It's exactly her style and therefore goes with the song that I'm still getting to know PERFECTLY! 4. Spongebob's Birthday 🧽 I KNOW THIS'LL GO AGAINST EVERYTHING I SAID ABOUT PLAY DATE but here, they had to be animated coaches because it's SPONGEBOB AND PATRICK AND I LOVE IT!! Look at em!!! It's so wholesome and a dance you can easily do with friends for some fun. 3. Sunlight 🌞 YES an anniversary map! We needed one to recognise that this franchise has now being going for 15 years! It looks fun and wholesome and the coaches changing into those from many years ago e.g. Dark Horse, my beloved, is fantastic, and channels the purpose of the game that's been going for an amazing 15 years! 2. Espresso hair salon version 💇‍♀️ AHH THIS IS ADORABLE and I like when seated versions have a theme like being in a hair salon, of course! The pastel colours are really my thing and it honestly feels better for the much loved and wanted song. 1. Training Season ❤️ YESSS DINAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!! It really brings a STRONG sense of community to this franchise when they allow those who are dedicated to playing these games to actually FEATURE IN THEM, I don't know any other games that do this and like I said, it's making this community for Just Dance even stronger! The coach, obviously is spectacular, and everything else about it visually is stunning. The choreo looks super fun and I already wanna get learning it, and this is personally one of my favourite Dua Lipa songs. I guess Training Season is your favourite of the entire game because you gave it a 10000 and YEAH/10, which I totally understand! 😁 I guess this was the final week, but by my counting, they've revealed about 36 songs, so have around 4 left to reveal, so maybe they'll show us before the game in one more load of clips to post or they'll be a surprise when you get the game? I dunno haha, just wanted to throw that idea out there! Great video as always!!! ❤️❤️

Week 7 was just good: Espresso is fine, cool to see chalina return but background is a projector as if it were an old film, R.I.P. Symphony even though the dolphin references it for the memes; The Hair Salon Alt is cool and it’s been awhile since we had a trio seated alt ever since Chantaje SpongeBob Birthday - the map displays everything SpongeBob related in terms of reference and Easter eggs. Though the song is kinda catchy - but I hope we get the SpongeBob SquarePants theme song reference to make an appearance. Sunlight - It’s the best way to celebrate an anniversary of the game and the song is truly catchy especially with how the game has evolved and the amount of Easter eggs, references, etc. There’s also the carrot from Popipo back in JD17 - Honestly it’s better than Halloween’s Here but doesn’t compare to Sugar dance or All you gotta do is (Just Dance) Play Date - The fans who finally got Melanie Martinez got their wish. But I’m not one of them - though I will say the map and the coach looks so cool when animated as if it were a indie cartoon. Yet I don’t know if the map was forced or the just dance team bribed Melanie so much that it worked - I don’t know, I might do a theory on this. Training Season - As much as I love Dina finally becoming a coach for just dance after only making her appearance back in JD23’s Toxic retake. I don’t just like Training season - The coach looks like an alt for centuries + We should’ve gotten Houdini or Dance the night away; But no they had to pick the more recent songs Dua Lipa has made so we can save the other songs for the next game or future seasons. Lunch - This is my favorite from this week - the coach, background and the cherries displayed everywhere; it works so well.

My ranking: 1. Playdate - I know nothing of the inspiration, but I absolutely love the art style, it’s one of the occasions where I actually enjoy the animated maps 2. Espresso (Hair Salon Version) - This is so Chanaje alt (the second best seated song behind Diamonds) coded and I love it, it’s another seated song but I really enjoy this one, it’s creative with the coaches as well. Unlike… 3. Espresso - I would’ve preferred a new coach for this one, but everything else is great (and it annoys me that everyone relates dolphins with Symphony, bc now that meme is so overdone) 4. SpongeBob’s Birthday - SpongeBob on Just Dance was something I wasn’t expecting, but I really like this one, the choreo is quite meh tho, since it’s just your arms going: ⤴️⤵️⤴️⤵️ 5. LUNCH - Not a big Bully Eyelash fan but I like the background, and holy jebus, this is Bully Eyelash’s sixth song in Just Dance, like girl has gotten a song each year since 2020 6. Espresso was a big let down for me to be honest. I feel really bad since I love Sabrina and had high hopes for the song. Like I didn’t mind reusing the coach but the choreo.. horrible (so far) The alt somehow had a better choreo which is crazy
