Having a beer on a Thursday night, and the big man drops a video as I take my first sip. Happy days 😁

First Can of o'haras nitro I ever got was fucking unreal, way better than any guinness i ever had from a can. the next day i went and got 4. They where all crap. Couldn't fucking believe it.

You need to get your hands on the White Hag brewery Black Boar stout. Simply incredible but at near 10% a real sipper

If your looking for a couple draft options 9 White Deer's Stag stout you can typically find it in The Cobblestone or The Black Sheep, or Whiplashs Slow Life in Fidelity, nice review fella 🍻

Most craft stouts are only carbonated with CO2 because (as far as I am aware) nitro cans are more expensive. Regular CO2 carbonation won't give the creamy mouthfeel that a traditional stout drinker will expect (and thoroughly enjoy).

Check out Whiplash brewery they are in Dublin, their Slow Life Nitro Stout is really good. They also have some other stouts as well as some barrel aged stouts, IPAs, Lagers and Sours.

massive writing across the OHaras can, its a NITRO stout, Guinness is a NITRO stout, this means instead of being carbonated with CO2 its carbonated with Nitrogen, thats the sound when you pop the can. absolutely love a 8-12% imperial stout around christmas, proper sipper beers :) but yeah, Nitro stout is sort of a gimmick, "creaminess" adds nothing to the flavour, but its great marketing. good to see your pallet growing though 😀

You've got to come out here to Austin, Texas! We've got tons of breweries all over Texas and right about now stouts, porters and bock's are in full swing (or going to be soon). My local grocery store is packed with all kinds of craft brews that would make any beer connoisseur be in heaven!

nitro=cream....the rest is just dark bubbly stout...like guiness foreign in the bottles

London Black and Black Heart are two nitro stouts readily available.

Those 4 are all quality but all different.Festa Nuda by The White Hag in Sligo or any of Lough Gil’s Imperial stouts would be ideal for Xmas all sippers.

Culzy tried some interesting things with his home brew experiment. Not sure he's ready to go public with it yet. Stay tuned.

Lads, help me out. I just got back to San Francisco, CA after being in Ireland for a while. Where are the best pints in Norther California. I'm craving a good one.

Craft stout or even bottled Guinness aren't really sesh beers. Slow sippers that go with a book or a game of chess. A drink from the past.
