The red and black kit of Man city goes back to 1968(67-68 was the winning season), a season after winning the second league (after 36/37). That was the first time the club went on to play the UEFA Cup(now UCL). The inspiration was drawn from Milan, given they were already quite successful in UEFA Cup and Cup winners cup competitions in the earlier years. CTID💙!
