With the g4 ships needing in the millions of XP per level, I find that the Enhanced Analysis is actually very very helpful. There isn't a lot of other research to boost xp earned from hostiles, iirc thorough scanning is the only other one. Then there are the officers, but you can hardly use them on a normal day-to-day pve grind. The exos are great of course, but you have to remember them and make sure to have the time to use them in real life.

Overall, I agree with this list. While I understand Rev's reasoning with Survival Skills being the top prime to buy, to me it's Borg Rewards. Yes, you can eventually get it for free, but the amount of extra faction and independent credits you miss out on will impact you greatly. Especially at only half the price, to me it's the best purchase I've made in game (maybe the 2nd research queue for like $5-10 was better).

Great video Rev! I would have to disagree on the prime rogue credit yield ranking though. Those extra rogue credits are super valuable for buying research credits for the stella tree. I used to have to skip a day buying research credits because I didn't have the tokens. That is no longer the case.

Prime swarm refining was a great one for me when I got it at lvl 24. It has given me the ability to focus my mining on G3 gas ore and Chrystal. By getting 500% more from the swarm refinery. Also prime charged borg nano probe has been great it’s helped me upgrade my Vi’dar quicker and more importantly I’ve been able to get more faction reputation points to work on locking them in.

if you get the tribute primes early just calculate how much value they give just by the credits they give... I think these are one of the best value primes, IF AQUIRED EARLY. I happily spend 600€ sub OPS 40 to conviniently get up reputation and gather hoards of credits. the content of the packs itself was good too.

Prime Enhaced Analysis is very important for FrankA levelling! FrankA levelling is a real PITA and this research literally speeds up that levelling grind by 2.5x!

I bought the vi'dar cargo. Because my maxed ship had less cargo capacity than what I needed for a double pull. And I wanted to do one trip per double pull. There's enough grinding already.

Prime Critical Hit Chance is one of the very few i will pay for. Your ships critical Hit Chance is 10% + 2 % from a very early research 12% to 22% for every single ship is HUGE !

Prime Augment Favor is my bottom prime. Following your camping strategy, you can easily max Augment rep by ~Ops 25, while at that same level the 100% boost from prime damage isn’t totally irrelevant. That’s a $100 prime which is obsolete before a $10 prime (which you easily get for free by Ops 10-14)

I only wish there was a f2p path for all of them at some point. Even if it was using the same treasury mechanic of a few particles a day for an extended period of time. If they can do that for 3 primes currently, there's no reason they can't expand it to others and continue to level gate behind the treasury

I put a bit more value in the vi'dar cargo prime with the introduction of the SNW Crew with uhura. The last borg run I did I pulled 700k of my 785k cargo in inert nanoprobesvvs lvl33 borg. With the cargo prime that's more than enough to pull the 500k double chest in a single run meaning more faction credits with less warp tokens used and less travel time. The downside is the time invested to farm 700k but I could do it faster with the invictus refit. It currently takes me 20-35 min to do a 700k run

Enhanced Analysis is huge for Franklin A. When you need millions of ship Xp 46+ grinding everyday puts a dent in that when you don’t have thousands of lat. I think you under value Critical Hit chance and especially Hit Damage. It’s really good for PVP, Armadas and PVE. Paired with Lorca, HGW and Gorkon you’ll be out damaging people without it. It’s that OP.

I’ve been debating on the Nitrium prime. Not because it’s necessary, but because I’m in the same systems as players using g4 and g5 ships to grind. They are there almost of the day and will zoom around grabbing apex. Makes it very difficult to get a full cargo resulting in compounding negative effects. Being able to upgrade out of those systems would be a very good thing. So advantage would be improved gameplay and reduced frustration.

I largely do not disagree with a lot of things, but if I were to pick some nits.... I would put Crit Chance higher than Crit Damage, simply because in the current changing META, the new Strike Teams... only 1 is crit based. Only 1 gives solid crit chance quickly. The other 2 ST crews have no bonus to crit chance. And, if you don't crit, you cannot get the crit damage. Nit picked.

So I did do Tribute Romulan Tribute because I still dont have a G3 Epic so 400 creds per day is a huge win for me. $100 for that I get my money back over 2 months easily vs buying 30K creds

Prime Survival Skills is definitely the Prime I really want to get for the reasons covered... But being only a lowly Ops 29. I can't actually research it. So torn between Borg Rewards, Daily Faction and 3* Crystal Refine (Crystal is kicking my ass with Levelling a Saladin, Horizon AND research... and the refinery is ASS 😂) Great vid regardless Rev! Really informative for the up and coming late 20's (Also I know you can get 2 of those for free eventually But I'd rather not have to wait until I can scrap for them as I'm soft camping level 29)

Active nanoprobes are meh at best because you only need a finite amount of them. Also you get tons of them from away team missions. The prime is rendered useless once your borg officers reach max level.

The 500 dollar primes arnt that bad they are lvl locked not intended to be maxed at start. its designed to to tier up with you as you lvl ops the credits are good to make the grind for faction ships less. It was designed to reduce grind time.

you have to be 40+ to get epic gas from the 7 and 28 day chests. its absurdly hard compared to most of the free to play. they offered it in a battlepass a year or so ago, and many decided to switch it to the officer stats prime.

Swarm refinery and Max warp speed are only exceeded by the Prime Officer primes in value. Ship parts ones are good too for G4 ship owners. I would pass on the outlaw based ones. The stella grind altogether is a time sink that really does not return enough to justify.

Rating prime crit chance and dmg soooooooooo low is makes me really think, how good is that overall rating. You always said, long term value is what matters officier more important then ships and then you take those 2 super important primes so low? These will help for every existing and going to come ships, they help in every aspect of the game pvp, pve, armadas impact on pve and armadas is huge, as you do more dmg while using stuff like pmc etc. Meaning killing faster meaning you take less dmg and you get higher per hull kill count. They belong together with officer primes SS maybe even need an own tier SSS.

Man I would say that Xp enhanced analysis isn’t an F tier, the grind to get ships levelled up is a pain, and unless you have lots of latinum, or XP, you have to grind to level up ships, so anything that makes that faster is a benefit, even build and scrapping the Stella etc it’s so fast now having that prime.

@@RevDeuce the officer options are not amazing, they don't get close to 250% and limits crewing options, plus this doesn't cost $100 directly, you buy it with multiphasic credits so basically its free if you're buying any other $100 prime or pack or several battlepasses for the low spenders

It absolutely does. So much. A night and day difference. Make sure you are not mistakenly falling for the glitch where the stat boosts from those 2 primes is only displayed while the officer is on a ship.

I had the first prime from early on and when I got the 2nd it didn't show any increase, I've played the game pretty much since launch I'm questioning why I'm still playing as scampley really cba fixing shit but try to sugar coat it with more broken or useles shit

As someone who really doesn’t have a lot of extra money to spend my focus on primes is whatever I can get without having to spend any real world money. I’m not sure which one I would actually consider to be the best prime to get, because it has Rev pointed out a few times there’s a lot of functionality that officers are better at than prime research.

I just want to point out that if you are sitting there with $100 trying to decide what to buy...and it's down to Prime Station Damage (Rated: F) or Prime Interceptor Manufacturing (Rated: S).... buy Prime Station Damage. I promise, if you debate me on this, you will lose.

As a content creator, Rev, you should probably reconsider your list with this in mind... Prime Station Damage will give 3000 5* UC Crystal. With efficiency research building it will likely leave you with enough crystal to do 2 of the 5* 1000 crystal primes. Including the S rated Prime Interceptor Manufacturing.

Again, that's why it's "niche". More people in STFC dislike PVP (including OPC hunting) than like it. Even then, it's not SS tier. It's not the most important thing I would recommend even the most devout PVPer buy.
