I actually made two custom horses recently! I don't have any salient (if that's what you call it) so my mare is chipping at the sides. I hope I can get some soon.

Mane’s and tail’s terrify me, they should be so simple yet they are one of the hardest things to do right!

Mine was the dapple! And all I can say is I agree with you 1000% on the dapples, that was my first repaint so it was definitely very “interesting”😂 I am gonna attempt to make another dapple soon I just need to figure out a technique! But thank you so much! I love your videos!❤️

Thank you for the 9/9 ! ^^ I usually just follow the hair direction of the actual model if it was sculpted with hair details, but I’ll definitely be using that hair chart, it seems like it’s quite helpful. I think the best part about these videos is getting to see everyone else’s lovely customs :]

@Justmeandmyhorses Unfortunately I don’t think I am able to rate them as it’s much easier to explain things through a video with pictures rather than text - But one thing I always try to keep in mind is to focus on something every custom. For me, I really wanted to focus on jupiters hairing. For my Appaloosa, I’m trying to do nice spots. For the Lipizzaner who sold, I was trying out a nice plan chestnut base. For the blue roan, I was testing out hairing details. The buckskin, I was testing out new dapples. Bottom line, don’t worry so much about improving the whole horse at once. Maybe try something new, but focus on one aspect that is important to you. After a while, you can put all these things together!

I want to get pastels but one they are pricey two I have nowhere to spray sealant beacuse I don’t have a basement and since I live in Canada I could only use it in the summer and my mom is concerned about the spray being toxic

PanPastels are about 6-9 USD a piece, but if you get white, black, and brown you can mix them! You can always buy chalk pastels and grind those up too for way cheaper. With the sealant, I do NOT recommend spraying inside or in a basement! Definitely do it outside, I know lots of people who live in Canada and use rust oleum or krylon and it works great. Make sure to wear a mask when you spray and alls good! Hope this helps!

48:16 AHH thats my boiii! :DD Tysm for a 9/10 and the tips!! This guy was done quite a while ago so I don't do the spots the same as I do now, and I lost all my pan pastels lol So if I had them I would totally do some shading, as its also one of my fav parts XD So happy I was able to participate! Thank you for your time to rate him!

Hi! For these videoes, usualy yhe peoples comishions are already made horses so made by the brands. But would for the next one of these videoes use a horse sculpted from me from the ground up in schleich scale?
