Sir why in last step we rationalize 2√6 why only √6

We can rationalise in both manner ... also with 2 root 6.... but if we can rationalise with root 6 only, then we should do that ... How with root 6 ? 2 root 6 mein 2 toh rational hai, bas root 6 se root hatana hai ... toh root 6 ko root 6 se multiply karke bhi root hata sakte hain .. Agar confusion ho raha hai toh ek baar 2 root 6 se multiply karke bhi dekhna .. rationalise ho jayega and phir 2 common lenge toh wapas ye hi ansnwer aa jayega ... try once and then let me know ...

A-b se multiply karne se a^2-b^2 ki identity apply kar sakenge .. and then a ka bhi square ho jayega and b ka bhi square ho jayega .. and dono mein se root hat jayega .. kisi ek mein ho to bhi root hat jayega and dono se bhi hat jayega .. isliye a+b ko hamesha a-b se multiply karenge and a-b ko a+b se multiply karenge .. okay ?

shud WE multiply with root 6 Or 2 root 6

You Can multiply with both .. when we will multiply with 2root6, then we will have to factor out or take 2 common from numerator and then cancel out from both numerator and the denominator... if we will multiply it with root 6 only, then there will be no need to take 2 common and cancel out. Answer in both cases will obviously be the same . I hope it helps .
