2k-3k viewers is insanely good viewership btw. 1k consistent is really good. 500-600 is enough to live off, it means you probably have like 2k fans, not like all fans watch at all times, but they do sub (each month) and donate/gift subs. People have a really distorted view of how strong twitch viewership is, just like they have a bad perception of when a game is "dead" and so on.

It's hard if your natural character isn't entertaining. Dantes is, like Rat said, a singular streamer who hasn't just based his whole character around climbing (and just that), but that *is* his whole character. Tyler1 can get views doing literally any activity because he's naturally entertaining and funny. For some, it's a facade they have to constantly sell. For others, you just want to hang out with them. Pretty easy to tell who has it and who doesn't.

Even more so it’s so obvious who streams for fun and who streams bc they NEED money from it bc they have zero other skills in life. Dantes streams to make money bc he cannot possibly do anything else with his life. Tyler and most other streamers that seems more fun to hang out with seem that way bc they are legit just hanging out for fun and happened to get big. Streamers that are only doing twitch in hopes of getting big always seem like forced characters (bc they are) while people who get big by streaming as a hobby and having fun with it seem much more like actual people you’d hang out with yourself
