Always happy to see a Yaegir win, lots of tricks I might try with mine. Although, seeing the Bombast die without using a single Wroughtlock Negotiation hurts my soul. If you get imitative, you can potentially shoot three times in a row (one if you go last prior turning point) *then* charge and fight.

Ratlings looks like it’s going to be a tough first kill team to be good at. Try not to get bummed if you lose a lot at the start. It’s a good team to learn a lot of positioning tricks. Listen to old gellerpox strategies they will help with this team. TLDR push 3 big guys with a couple small guy melee support. Cover objectives and with silent snipers try and make sure anything that kills a big guy on engaged will have to eat a sniper shot next turn. I would always take 3 big guys. You need them for objectives and to get rid of characters that are hard to take down shooting. Hide them in buildings until they need to play objectives. For the center a good tactic is to use control range to avoid getting shot. Stuff like shoot>charge and purposely don’t fight or block out fight hits to keep them alive but wounded. Pair that with a darling whose purpose is to just stay in combat to provide the +1 WS and APL. You can also shoot into that person for a CP. Super conceal is nice but you can hide visibility and use silent to avoid getting shot. Sniper positions seems like the more powerful ploy.

No Kyn Left Behind is a powerful Ploy, one of my favorites for sure. It's like the Salvager's Grudge but better bonuses. The tradeoff is that it's localized to a board location rather than following Enemy Operatives but that's not that awful. It's way easier to choose where you let a Dorf die to drop the Marker advantageously than it is to rely on the opponent giving you shots on heavily Grudged Operatives. I wouldn't say this was so much a difference in Team power as it just was piloting. Brad played just very well and got the rolls he needed to support it. He had one of those great feeling games we get time to time where it's going right as we like. Unfortunately for Vic, where there's one of those kinds of games that Brad just had there's also one of those games where you just cannot get your momentum rolling and eat the L feeling like you just never had an angle on winning at all.

Really nice to see these teams on the table. Short vs shorter! I wish you would spend a tiny amount more time on TP1 just to show where which model ends up. Deployment and movement is so important. And in this one the dark green and the slightly lighter green really make it hard to see what is going on on the right hand side of the board.

At 8:29 if the yaegirs had a frag grenade or any aoe gun could they hit both of the ratlings by targeting the ground or is that not a thing in kill team, or could they not be hit because they are in super conceal. Just curious, thanks.

Shooting attacks usually require a valid target, meaning an enemy operative. I think something the corsair voidscarred can do is able to target the ground within a range distance. It might be Eldar... idk. My phobos mine layer operative can place his spidermine anywhere within 3inches of him I think.

As expected ratling team is gonna be a high skill floor one since you gotta position well. And preferably be 2-3 turns thinking ahead so you have operatives in place to snipe from conceilment whenever the enemy goes for your bait.

Stun grenades in 3rd edition kill team only require visibility (i.e Can your model see any point of the model) not line of sight which requires they not be in cover if they are on conceal.

It's like picking a normal team. You have your 1 Leader and then you pick 10 operatives from a list of options. Bullgryn and Ogryn are on that list and you can bring up to 3 of them. If/When you pick some -gryn THEN you can sacrifice them to choose a 0CP Ploy for each one.

I am pretty sure (though GW needs to clarify this) you cannot take 11 models AND get a free ploy just because you only took 2 Ogryn/Bullgryn. I think what they meant was IF you take 3x Ogryn/Bullgryn (and 8x Ratlings) slots, and THEN decide to leave an Ogryn/Bullgryn slot empty (reducing you to 10-models), THEN you can take a strategic ploy for free each turn. Otherwise an 11-man Ratling only team would always be getting 3x strategic ploys for free each turn (which doesn't seem correct...)
