Ratt Out of the Cellar is legendary 🐀👌🏼. I think I play more Ratt riffs than anything, what a great band. That Carvin is nice! I remember getting their mail order catalog in the mail in the early ‘90s 📬😀 . Great lesson Nick and rock on as always 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

Yeah, I used to live 30 minutes from the Carvin factory in San Diego. Bought two while I was there and still got them!

Nick , the new Friedman Plex 50 watt really nails the 80’s tones too.. It sounds like every great band in the 80’s .
@NickLaytonGuitar6 ай бұрын
Man, I’d love to get my hands on one of those!

@@NickLaytonGuitar Remember if you do get one , it does not have an fx loop. You would need to have a Fryette Power Station so you can have an FXLoop. A Fryette powers station would work well with your JEL head too. If you hook the head up to it you can turn the JEL in. A 50 watt. Friedman Plex is King of The 80’s tones. For the Frankenstein pickup . Got to the Seymour Duncan site. Scroll down to “custom shop”. Then click on “Artist Signature” should pop up. All the best Nick!

Nick appreciate your videos. Keep doing it. Also, Seymour Duncan custom shop Frankenstein custom really nails the 80’s tones . They make three versions of it . 8.5k classic 13.5k custom (one I use) 17.5k custom+ Great pickup All the best brother .

Thanks Nick ! As others have said Ratt and Roll and full run through brilliant. Thanks for running through the signal chain really helpful. Any recommendations on a great guitar now for playing the killer 80s hard rock ? Nobody Rides for Free would be an epic lesson for us. 🙏

Check out :chubtone guitars .com They make amazing custom guitars in the Van Halen super strat tradition, and can pretty much build anything else you want too.
