Every Saturday 9AM Eastern Time, about a dozen of us get together on 7,087 kHz upper sideband to have a RATT NET (RTTY NET). RATT being the military acronym for Radio TeleType. We use military shift of 2,000 Hz center frequency and 850 Hz shift (aka +/- 425 Hz).

Equipment in use includes:
Harris RF-1140A 1KW Transmitter
Harris RF-590 HF Receiver
CV-2460/SGC Signal Converter (audio to 60 mA current loop and vice versa).
AN/UGC-20 Teletype machine (aka Teletype M28 KSR)
Rohde & Schwarz FK859 1KW antenna coupler at the base
