Ratt riffs & Warren DeMartini. Another 80s guitar idol. One of the best and toughest to play because of huge stretches in many songs. Another bucketlist achievement for me. #guitarcover #Ratt #warrendemartini

The riffs, the solos, the insane finger stretches required for riffs. Warren DeMartini, is another 80s idol of mine, behind EVH and Lynch. Loved this album. Hopefully Round and Round, Lay It Down soon! 🤟🤟🤟🎸

I hope so! It adds up over time. Again, I started at age 46 a few years ago, now 49. I just keep learning song after song. Consistency paying off. But also not hung up on perfection either. Has to be a fun challenge! Still a challenge and home work and practice, but something you want to do. I'd rather devote 30 to 60 min a night on guitar now, and lay off the TV and Video Games for a bit instead. lol

@@RoofsHobbyGuitar I will keep learning and playing for sure! I practice early in the mornings before work, and after dinner at night. I enjoy learning. I'm so much better now than last October when I picked it back up again. I've just got to stay consistent, and not get frustrated. Thank you for the reply back. Keep rockin'!

Nice work. Appreciate your visit to my channel. Another dude commented that the solos are not that difficult in this tune. He's right -- not that complicated, but has a very fast run at the beginning that may take a little time to get under your fingers. Rock on dude. Subscribed.

Maybe so. But a guy like me, starting this late, it's not I was absorbing all this stuff like a sponge as a teenager player or young adult. I don't have the reflexes anymore for that stuff. To me, this solo is hard and fast and complex and all over the place lol But again, started at 46, 49 now. I'm just over 3 years experience. I think I'm solid considering all that! But I Am getting more confident to attempt solos and songs I could NEVER do my 1st year playing for sure.

And yeah sometimes I go for the solo, or try to learn it and be more patient, and other times, I just do my thing over the solo, playing in the proper boxes and shapes and try to just add my own thing. And other times, I just skip all together, like in this case lol Just got in that groove with the main riff too.
