Had the LF-750 when they first came out. I had sold my Lectric. It was a powerful bike and had a great range for battery. But it was too heavy and too tall to feel safe. I’m 5’4”. It was great on steep hills. Wound up selling it and getting Lectric 2.0 and no regrets. Love my Lectric and feel safer for my short legs.

I just purchased the Tesgo Hum Pro 1000 w with full suspension, after some changes in the advanced settings I got a top speed of 35.7 mph with pas 5, throttle only 32.8 mph , great bike for the money.

Great review, thank you! Short question: what power source is needed to charge this bike? I am considering buying it to take it with me in my Class B RV. There I have 12 v outlets plus a small inverter. So if it needs a 110 v outlet for charging, do you know how powerful the inverter has to be?

I recently got my Rattan bike. The battery mounting strip that came off his bike in the video came from the factory installed backwards. I noticed in the video that Jeremiah's was on backwards when he showed the loose screw. If you flip it around maintaining the top and bottom as is, but flipped horizontally, the battery fits much better. I did have to bend the strip some vertically when I did this. I suspect when the factory installed this strip backwards they had to bend it the opposite direction to make it fit. .... just saying.

Another question for you...on the controller there is an extra unused cable attached. I believe it has a 4-pin connector. Do you know what that is for? I think it may be some sort of Bluetooth module.

Thank you for your reviews. I am looking at this bike vs the lectric XP. I'm a big guy and this bike seems like a better fit 6'3" 260lbs. Looking for a folding bike and thinking I need the 750 vs the 500 of the Lectric. Any thoughts or advice? Should I look at another brand too?

If you have fairly level ground you would be OK on a 500w Bike like the Lectric But if you have hills 750 white would definitely be better because it has more power. I did review a few other 750w bikes on my channel as well. Have you seen those videos? Did you see my 750w Ebike comparison video.

I've owned this bike almost a year now. I originally had an lectric ordered that was when they were backordered for so long. I canceled that and picked up the rattan 750 for 1050 bux which is a good deal considering the features.They delivered in a week. It appears they have changed the monitor as mine is a colored version with settings that do enable faster speeds. On pas 5 throttle only I get 26mph and I weigh 240 lbs. I usually ride in pas 3 and that gets me about 30 miles or more as I've never taken it all the way down. There is another individual on KZbin that gets 60+ out of his but that's in pas1 or 2 with lots of peddling. Everything about mine has been excellent but a word of warning about customer service because it's spotty at best. This is a large heavy bike so I wouldn't recommend it for really short people. If it wasn't for bad customer service reports I would recommend this bike over the lectric mainly because of the large battery capacity but because of the reportedly bad customer service I'd recommend lectric. It could be the covid lock downs could have caused some of the customer service issues I don't know. Its definitely a nice bike for the price though. I also changed the original seat to a big ylg seat and that mage the ride much better on this bike. Thanks for the review!

thanks for your review. imo the controller choice is probably questionable, or at least it's programming. cruse should not be so easily enabled, lectric does it right imo. top speed locked out. :/ it seems to be otherwise a good bike, but needs some reprogramming or a different controller imo.

I’ve been noticing that many bikes have the cruise control feature enabled and many of them you cannot disable. There should always be a way to disable it if you wanted to in my opinion.

Susan, correct, I just bought one and it only goes 20mph throttle-only and 22mph throttle+pedaling hard max, there's is no longer the display with USB charging port, There is no longer a mounting plate for the right-hand footrest, so the foot pegs aren't included, no bell was included and it was missing the derailleur guard. Speed setting p08 doesn't function at all, no change in speed even if you change it to the slowest speed. Always stuck at 32(20mph)

@@dojo8181 we had 2 LF-750 of them when they first came out. My on had both up to 31 mph after setting the P-8 (?) to 45km. There was no USB port. It was a very fast bike and the battery never lost a charge. It was advertised as having regenerating (?) abilities where it recharged itself when going down hill or something like that. Both of our bikes had the leather type back seat with foot pegs and black and white monitors. I think we paid $1099 each for them. They were great bikes, but we went back to Lectric with the 2.0 version and have no regrets. The Rattan was great with no issues, but if you look on the group facebook page you will see that custumer service is lacking. Being we didnt have any problems with the bikes, I can't really personally say it was good or bad.

How do you attach a pannier bag to the back? The big metal bracket below the seat looks like it would get in the way.

You would need the type that drape over or use a rear bag that has them built in the sides like the rockbros bag I use. The clip on panniers will not work.

I have had mine up to 28 mph when you put the tire size on 28. I put the speed up on 50 and it changed nothing. Be wary of setting the throttle sensitivity to low it will take off when your not ready. I did move the tire size back to 20 because I wasn't sure if it would smoke the motor or not

Last question (so far). My screen is slightly different. Don't know if it's newer or older. I believe my screen is model YL80C. When I turn on the screen all available screen positions light up. There is. 188% next to the battery meter which must mean there is a way to show that? Also the is a BT symbol. Any ideas?

Hmm I’m not sure but on my new GeForce T 42 bike it also shows this 188% when you turn the display on but I have not yet figured out a way to show that.

New to ebikes. How do gear shifters worth in tandem with pedal assist? Is it just to adjust the gear friction while pedsling but speed is still dictated by the PAS/throttle ?

Yes that’s about right. The gear shifter acts just like when riding a regular bicycle the faster you go, the higher, the gear, the steeper the hill or slower speed the lower the gear. Pas the higher, the level, the higher the speed. Also, some bikes are programmed to limit the power level to the PAS Level‘s so you would need a higher level for more power.

Purchased the LF 750 Rattan ebike. It's a very sturdy ebike that runs really well and goes up the steepest of hills very easily. No complaints overall. Highly recommend this ebike.

We bought two of the Rattan LM500d last April (2021) We love these bikes, I'm only 5'2" and it was on the edge of being too tall for me, however we cut a chunk out of the seat bar welded it back and now I can touch the ground and it's all good. I had the same problem with the battery rail, it wasn't installed quite right and the battery wasn't seated properly. I simply put the rail on properly and the battery seated perfectly after that. Ours did come with rear foot pegs and a different display. Our tire setting came on the 24" setting and the display says we are going 28mph when maxed out. At the 20" setting it says we are going 20mph, I think this is probably the accurate speed because our tires are 20". I haven't checked it against a gps, I guess I should do that lol.

Remember just because the tire is 20" that is the metal wheel size, if you take a tape measure and measure the actual diameter of the outer tire itself it will be closer to 24 than 20 for sure. You will have to measure to know. The controller is counting RPMs it has no idea how big of a tires is attached and it needs to know the outside diameter of the rubber that touches the ground to give you ground speed.

I measured my tire at close to 23 inches. Bummer, the display calibration steps from 22 to 24. Really lousy programming. It would have been nice if the gave you half-inch intervals..22, 22.5, 23, 23.5 ...I set mine at 22 and the display more closely matches GPS

Hello!! I know the question is stupid, since I already saw the weight of the bike in the specs, 66 pounds, but I wonder if someone could give me their opinion on how heavy does that feel when you lift it (maybe folded) like to get in a subway or a bus or just to go up or down a flight of stairs in the said subway, for example. I am a man, so I am a bit more stronger (hope that helps) or if it's so heavy that you can't barely lift it for more than 5 seconds. Thank you!!!!

It's so heavy that you struggle after a nice solid 20 seconds. It's practically 70 lbs and either you pick it up with your fingers or get it into your two hands

Sorry for the late reply I just seen this question. Typically these folding bikes are still pretty heavy and awkward when folded and a little bit difficult to carry. Put it this way when I’m carrying it up steps I usually leave it unfolded and it’s easier.

i live in the uk where 750w motor and throttle are illegal on our main roads,how ever i went ahead and ordered one for the simple reason i only use cycle paths but now and then i need to use b roads to get to the cycle paths and ive never been stopped yet by the cops.i think there is so much crime these days thay tend to overlook these ebikes.

I want this bike so it will it go up to 22mph only right. Another bike guy on here said you can't get up to 28mph on any electric bike without a 1500 motor. Changing tires to 22 will give false reading higher speeds. 20 inch tires will get you to 22mph

It doesn’t matter what you change the tire size 2 on most bikes that only changes the speed on the display and not the actual speed. He is wrong about no bikes going 28 mph because I have a few that do as you can see in some of my videos.

A higher wattage motor does not necessarily mean you will get more speed.

Thank you. Yes motor power really has nothing to do with speed it’s all on how the bike is set up and programmed. I liked the display too especially being able to read the wattage output.

Hmm it should be the same as all my other videos 2.7K. maybe go to the settings and change video quality. Sometimes if your Internet Signal is weak it will revert to a lower quality playback in KZbin. Please let me know if this fixes it.
