Rattenberg in 2023, seems to be busier than ever. It feels as if people are finally coming back to visit the smallest city in Austria. The walk takes you from the eastern city gate to the western city gate across the old town of Rattenberg.
Rattenberg (translated mountain of the rats) is known for its handmade glass and for the unique old town and its castle ruins. The locals organize a theater play every year in the outdoors in the old castle ruins above the city. The play this year is Don Quixote.
