Oh , wow, I do believe you have found a rare breed of Dancing Rats! These reflexes are triggered when the brain is destroyed. Compare this to documented cases involving people who are brain-dead. Even though there is no brain activity - meaning no thought processes, no ability to feel pain, etc - the body has been known to occasionally twitch. And the brain stem will sometimes continue the autonomous functions, such as the heart and lungs.
