very good brother... i play it capo 3 in C shape and i try to mimic the electric a little adding in that Ab (kinda like Fmaj9) in the opening riff. Then as it progresses, i play Am, G (i typically walk this down so like a Gsus4 leaving that index finger pegged on the root) then i play the Ab to G (F to E in C shape) with my index finger and return to my C shape. When i do that Ab->G i play the C more like a Cmaj7 and only playing the upper 3 strings in that section. Like you said, it's very versatile and they are just jamming... D shape or C shape both sound great acoustically i think... I imagine they will eventually release an acoustic set of it like they have other songs. Great tutorial brother! God bless you!

In regards to the 1/7 chord at 12:30, it's a NATURAL 7, which means it's a half step down from the 7th note of whatever key you play it in. (except for the key of C) I.e. In our case, the 7 in the key of D, it's C#, but in this progression play a C

Loved the tutorial! Thank you so much, man! I have been waiting for something like this 🔥 Few things though, I would mic the guitar because it is a little low (it just needs little more volume) and also, your mic clipped when you went for those high notes lol it got me by surprise 😂 pull back a little more when you hit those notes or just turn the gain down a little or adjust the audio on that part of the video.
