Is "Reason" 100% browser based? I want to run it on an Ubu flavor Linux box...

I'm not sure what you mean with "browser based". Reason is not running on a browser like chrome. It's a stand alone application. As far as I know, Reason is only available for Mac and Windows. I believe you can install a virtual windows machine on Linux. Then you're able to use Windows Software like Reason. Theoretical. 🙂
