RAV Vast2 D Celtic minor D3, A3, C4, D4, E4, F4, G4, A4, C5
This is a truly revolutionary instrument in a family of metal tuned
percussion. Due to special patented technology there's up to 6 harmonics tuned on each tongue. On a central note of drum there's 7 harmonics tuned. It's possible to separate those harmonics and extend the range of the instrument to full 2 octaves of the scale. Imagine 8 bells tuned to the scale and on each of them all the partials are tuned as well! That's how we would describe the sound of this instrument.
The instrument is developed and being made by Andrej Remjannikov.
It's fine tuned instrument which can be played by beginners and by
professional musicians. It can be used for the stage performances,
studio recordings and for healing sound sessions as well.
A variety of musical scales is offered to you, allowing you to choose your favorite tuning.

I ordered the b Celtic minor and then stumbled across a few videos of the D minor. I immediately emailed and changed my order. Even the b Celtic was on special and I could've saved $80, but I knew this is the sound I wanted for life. It's enchanting and speaks volumes to my soul. I can't wait to receive it and sit by the beach at night with the waves crashing in the shoreline in the background letting my higher self show my ears some magic. Depending on what you play, you should turn it appropiatly, having the low notes facing you is very unpractical when doing some patterns =)

Hi there. Well, for me - I've the gold band model, purchased about six months ago - all the high notes feel somewhat stiff. I understand, of course, part or all of this is because it is a high-pitched scale. I want to try out the older model, with the black band, to see if there’s perhaps more sustain. I like the scale, but something about it doesn’t feel quite right. I’d like to have more volume. I’ve been playing long enough to utilize many and proper striking techniques. It's nevertheless a beautiful instrument.

Interesting, I definetly prefer the deeper Vast 2 B Celtic I play and perform with. The ding sounds a bit off and some of the notes seem to be causing a bit of negative cross talk and disonance. Something about this one is not as enchanting as others! Interesting playing none the less though! Stay well.

No, ding is precisely on, and none of notes has negative cross talk and dissonance. And it's purely enchanting as much as others! Absolutely great instrument! Couldn't put it away, loved it so much:)

I am always a fan of Andreys work! There are definetly some partials causing wavering, which, is not necessarily a bad thing! Few things but Lino tune would pick up and separate them, except for our ears. Still, I prefer this scale over handpans without question! Just not my favorite compared to the Celtic B.
