I really appreciate your effort to document all history, & i also acknowledge that many sources (even top trusted) are mostly wrong at mythology. Ravanan was the greatest Lord Shivan's devotee ; he's not a demon( which translates to sort of evil & wrong doing)they are part of an ancient non-human species called 'Asuras'. Apart from his scary appearance, he's a good ruler of ancient Eezham ( modern srilanka)

It depends on the religion. Zoroastrians view Ahuras as God's and Devis as demons. Norse myth has the Aesir and Vanir gods exchanging members to keep the peace. Remember, in the beginning sky-earth was seperated. So, ya need ditties for both parts.

Actually he's not a demon, even in mythology he's a vice king.... But you have to understand something, there's a huge stereotype in Indian mythology... The people who lived in southern India and people who lived in forest were mostly referred as demon or asura in mythology, even Hanuman who helped Ram was referred as monkey man, who lived in kiskindha region, which is also in Southern India, so understand this stereotype first and onemore thing.... Ravana was a well known scholar and a master in 10 different arts.... Which in later period changed to 10 different heads.... It's quite common in many mythologies.... Body shaming or making fun of the villain group of that mythology

Kamsa was a demon, he was an asura... But his nephew Krishna was a God.... Iraniya kashu was a asura, but his son pragalatha was considered a devotee of Vishnu not as Asura.... So basically, if you are with them, you'll be considered holy and if you are against them, you'll be an Asura or demon or Jinn or any name they want....

theres one more part of ravanas story, his fathers side thought him discipline, modesty and good values but his mothers side thought him about how gods troubles demons and to take revenge on gods. Confused by the contriduction, he went to his theacher/guru or rishi and the rishi told him that mothers hold the first place in everyone's life. So he followed his mothers and meternal relatives and did what they though him, to be a asur(demon)!

First and foremost, Who told you ramayana is a mythology? There are historical facts and archaeological proof of its existence. The Ram sethu ( the western guys call it 'adams bridge', I don't know why ) and pushpak viman ( the flying saucer that ravana used to travel on ). Just make a deep dive into the internet to know more about its legitimacy. The pushpak viman ( a flying saucer which is powered by creating anti gravitational field around using chemical manipulation of element Mercury as propulsion system ) is a long lost technology for mankind. Current powers like US, European union, china, russia and india are All in secret tying their best to revive this technology back to reality. It seems the US has an upper hand on this technology revival. The videos of sightings of UFOs ( 99% are fake or computer generated ) are indeed US scientists testing this technology. 2nd thing , he doesn't have 10 heads as many say. The Ramayana describes him as 10 headed asura which implies as a person with 10 different emotional forms / his mastery over 10 different arts. Long story short, he is unpredictable. 3rd, he is not a demon. He is an asura, some call him a rakshasa or whatever. Asuras ( rakshasas are different ) are different from demons. Asuras are close to resembling a human being and they have extreme levels of intelligence and memory possessing ability. Something like superhumans but not godly powers. He kind of ruled lanka with an iron fist. He was manipulated by his own sister, and the goodness in him ( his father's traits ) got overruled by his bad characteristics ( his mother's traits ) such as greed, power, knowledge over many and incompetents which eventually led to his own demise.
