This time, I didn't have to sit through an hour of cheesy dance music. Demo songs in this version are actually more enjoyable. Drum and Base, and Hardcore being my favourite.
When I was about 10 years old I made a ton of (likely awful) tunes on this and Dance Ejay, put them on cd's and printed my own (again, awful) cover art. Took them to school and handed them out to people thinking I was gonna become famous... Memories :D Need to have a rummage in the loft now, ffs

My dad used to put his eJay mixes on CDs and play them in the car, I had a little play around with Dance eJay 4 too, never made anything particularly good though, I was around 8 or 9 at the time 😅 nostalgic 🤩

This was truly abused by me in my teens. The software was and is amazing. The same cannot he said for the crappy little PC speakers my dad used to have!

era um programa legar para produzir música, mas eu morria de preguiça de mexer então eu só ouvia estas amostras e desinstalava.

Could someone please recommend tracks or compilations in this tempo and style from the mid to late 90's? I'm not talking about the ordinary gabber, happy hardcore, jungle, drum'n'bass etc. I guess hard nrg/freeform and goa (/suomisaundi) have some similar elements, but it's specifically the metallic synths and mental pitched up repeated vocals (like in the Start track) that I only remember from this software and maybe some German rave documentary. I just knew the style as "rave" back then. There's something mysterious about it. The more euphoric stuff (like Light) is also something I would hear more on PSX games than anywhere else, but I was also not actively seeking it at the time.
