how do you decide which maps color value going to be perfect for length and clump , have you written values somewhere ?

I paint the basics of white and blacks and then make some tests on ornatrix in 3ds max, and I repaint areas that I don't like.

when I import my zbrush model to 3d max ,it's too small on the canvas.Then I scale the model and add vray displacement .to get proper detail ,I have to increase amount of vray displacement cause I scale model.but the problem is how it work with ornatrix fur.all the fur can see in the low poly mesh,but can't see some fur areas on the displace highpoly mesh..

When you scale the model in 3ds max, always apply XForm to reset your model and you won't need to increase the amount of displacement. Go to Utilities and press Reset XForm!

I try it..but same thing happen...add xform at the beginning,and then scale,but vray displacement mod need same as scale like mesh..frustrated... :-( ..Help me
