I perhaps will never be able to fully comprehend the amount of beauty Alice brings to a piece such as this, as she always does, and the passion and discipline it takes to perform it. My ear and my heart goes out to you Alice ! ' Be strong and of good courage'. Footnote: A special thanks, to who is responsible for capturing the interaction between Alice and Maazel. Some special moments,..... the intense ear of and the silent nods of approval from a sage of a conductor and his smile at the end demonstrating the pleasure of listening to Alice perform this piece.

Wonderful pianist, and orchestra. And how french music from late xix and begining of the xx century is gorgeous. Ravel's music is a splendour. One speak all the time of german composers, but their french counterparts don't have to blush. Oh my god this movement is so poignant...
