When a country artist like Danielle Bradbury wins _The Voice_ they don't get signed to Republic, they get sent to Big Machine, where they do just fine, relatively speaking. Tessane Chin got screwed over, and if it weren't for the Vegas residency that the show has now, you'd think Alisan Porter had fallen off the face of the Earth. Maybe _The Voice_ should kick Universal Music to the curb and hook up with one of the drag management companies. But only the one that Trixie or Todrick is with. Those people are keeping the girls _working._

I dont understand why people like to hate on both of them. Mathu himself told raven that he was next in line to takeover if anything happens to him, we dont know what happened to mathu but both these queens are just doing their jobs. Have ru looked better? Sure he has, but lets not forget mathu has perfected ru's face after years of practice. Its disappointing that the emmys didnt recognise the show when mathu was still there but we don't know what happened in mathu's personal life for him to leave, its not like everyone is hiding mathu and his contributions. We should just let them finesse their skills and art for the world to see.

He's taking a total time out from the industry completely I remember one of the queens talking about him on Hey Queen & also read somewhere it was due to mental health issues and he was getting help and recovering from those issues. I say well done to him. its a tough industry to be involved with and can chew people up. I don't blame him one bit for wanting to look after himself. I'm sure that if and when he decides to come back to work then he'll be back on form , maybe not working for Ru but definitely other high profile work as he's always been well respected.

I think Mathu made Ru look gorgeous, and Mathu's depiction of RuPaul is iconic, but everything has to come to an end at some point. That said, I think Raven also does an amazing job, Ru on Season 10 and AS3 looked stunning.

A couple of things: This video is a little misleading. Gabriel (Delta) is nominated for the work that he did for the "10s Across the Board" episode, but he's not the only hairstylist nominated or credited for the episode, he's just the one who was responsible for RuPaul's wig, for better or worse; Hector Picasangre was nominated for the other hairstyling in the show, which could be for Christina or Michelle. Similarly, David (Raven) was nominated for Ru's makeup, but three other artists were nominated with him for their work on other people in the episode. Just wanted to acknowledge that other crew members do hair and makeup for the episode, it's only Raven and Delta are being touted here, and they, perhaps rightly so in KZbin-land, are the only ones people want to talk about. With that said: Raven and Delta were nominated for Emmy awards by a group of television hair and makeup professionals on the basis of the work that was submitted. They didn't -- and shouldn't -- consider any work that Mathu Andersen did on the show before they were hired. Raven and Delta have been and are being judged _on their own merits,_ which is what the academy members are supposed to do, perhaps not without some degree of personal preference with respect to the other shows nominated. I think it's safe to say that whatever group of people chose the nominees felt that the crew's achievements were somehow worthy of note, and even though I sincerely believe that Mathu is great, I'm okay with Raven, Delta, and the rest of their colleagues being recognized for the work they do, and beyond that, comparing their work to Mathu's in context is kind of irrelevant. If World of Wonder was throwing shade at Mathu in season nine, that doesn't have anything to do with what's happening now, especially dragging people who didn't have anything to do with it.

I don't understand why Raven and Delta are receiving negativity- they are both talented in their field, were offered a good job and they took it- show me one mother fucker who wouldn't? Understand RuPaul is never going to look like a Mathu creation. Mathu is a conceptual artist who worked with Ru for *years*, figuring out what works what doesn't collaborating with Zaldy on the 'monsters' concept.
