I was there that day, and I remember watching Ravens walk around a pretty deserted parade ring with Fortune on board, being lead round by a young lady... and I remember Jimmy saying to the lady, "Look at him, he's half asleep... This is what it's all about now.... Now is the time". And it all made sense to me. I went and grabbed 11/4 and it never looked like losing. I wanted to back Tamayaz but it went round on it's toes and didn't finish its race. It pays to watch them parade.

And a month almost to the day later, their performances in this race over a mile on turf vaulted both Raven's Pass & Henrythenavigator to another big performance over 10F on Santa Anita's then pro-ride surface, as they ran 1st & 2nd once again in basically shaming the much overhyped on a synthetic surface Curlin in the Breeders Cup Classic.
