By the time my Grandma Edna passed she'd been in a nursing home for a while and because of a dispute my Dad wasn't talking to my Aunts and we didn't know she had died for quite a while. I moved where I live now 2 months after my parents and was living with them. I laid down for a nap one day, facing the wall. I had just closed my eyes when I felt the end of my bed sink as if someone had just sat down, and then 2 gentle pats on my calf. At first I thought it was Mom, but when I looked I was alone. I'm not sure why, but the first thing I said was "Grandma?" in reply to which I felt someone smooth my hair down. It just FELT like a warm grandmotherly feeling, the kind that comforts you. I fell asleep just after and a day or so later Dad told me that she had passed. I hadn't even seen her in years and they said she had dementia in the end, but my heart fell full AND broke because out of every family member, even her own children, she chose to visit me. I miss that lady, she smoked like a chimney and drank like a fish and lived to be 95 years old. She was always so much fun. I miss you Grandma, I hope you and Dad are together.

Funny you mention that, because I was just snickering to myself the other night one of the million or so times someone had stated "I've always been a sceptic" , yup, but something absolutely nuts is about to happen to you and make the existence of the paranormal very hard to deny...those are always the best stories, I think. I think the reason a lot of people say that though, is they are used to people not believing them and that statement is a way to lend a bit more credibility to the story....like, if this person doesn't even believe, they have no reason to make it up...only my opinion, but it makes sense.

I love your readings! I really liked the Hong Kong ghost story. The one about the Tinder girl disappearing could have been her luring the guy in to her apartment to do something bad, but he left before her friends could come.

I'm listening to the a Stories.and when I heard about the dime and sat up in shock. Earlier this year I keep finding dimes. I was on the phone telling a family member and when I walk out the store I look down and there was a dime. I told my family member I think this may have to do with our Mom. She use collect coins. My parents past away 2018. They die 6 days apart. Sometimes I have a little bags of coins my mom kept Ed. This is why I think it my have been her letting me know she is still around.

R old family farm is in bushmills quite close to dark hedges walk the dogs at night and u can sometimes see the grey lady searching in and out of them trees iv even watched an old lady with thick shawl and Elizabethan dress walking up stairs to my old atic bedroom. Here in Northern Ireland because of bombings and killings from troubles we have slot of hunted places

Great as always, but what's with all this nope and noping as a verb etc. It comes up a lot in these stories. Maybe it's the next generation, but I find it off. I mean it does the job, but you wouldn't find it in a Kipling poem or work of Faust.

Reddit isn’t the same thing as Kipling or Faust lol. It’s a campfire at best with casually told stories. It’s not literature. Which is why I’ve moved Reddit stories here, in part, so I can focus more on literature and other genres on the main channel. 🙂
