@Bryan Mack I remember that match perfectly. It was a hardcore match Mick Foley set up and apparently the first time Undertaker had ever competed in one match. I remember cause it was one of the few times they actually let him cut a promo reminiscent of his ECW/WCW days. I'll never forget that image of him getting last ride through the announce table. Yeah they definitely treated him like garbage

That’s the perfect example of his incredible intellect and also his personal humbleness, he was confident in himself and his character but realized later on he screwed himself, despite not having creative control his own actions in the moment torpedoed his own run.

Loved the hardcore match he was in at mania 17. Kane won the match and I was a huge Kane fan, but raven was a great heel. I say he is one of the top heels of the 90's.

^^^ they buried and fired Buff Bagwell immediately one of the only O.G WCW guys they had in the Invasion storyline, then ruined DDP.. Also, if you look back on 2001 Booker T lost, got beat up and embarrassed most of the year so I can see why Sting didn't trust them.

That's crazy. I started watching WCW more after I got WCW vs NWO Revenge for N64. I never seen Raven previously to that but he was on the cover and he looked badass and I always used him in the game. The whole Ravens flock thing was awesome and also gave us Kidman.

Raven was one of the coolest characters in the game. WWE really blew it because that was really a gimmick that got over everywhere else. It was used greatly in ECW of course, but WCW and Raven's Flock was a cool stable that they underused there I thought, and WWE just totally dropped that gimmick. Raven's Flock could have been a hell of a stable in WWE.

I don't know who the guy is interviewing Raven, but he's great! What a breath of fresh air. I love listening to stars talk about their time in wrestling with someone who respects them and isn't trying to embarrass anyone. The YouShoot series is tasteless and disrespectful to the business. The guy doing those interviews tries to get everyone to talk about what so-and-so is like in bed; how big their dicks are; and outing people who use drugs. THIS interview series is great and I'm going to check out more of it. The interviewer seems to genuinely respect the people he's talking to. The guy's talented and very focused. A+

It's a crying shame because this guy was so talented. His rivalry with DDP for the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship was easily one of my top 5 favorite feuds of the Monday Night Wars era. I'm not saying he should've won the WWE championship, but he should've at worst been a multi time Intercontinental Champion and always in contention for the main title but never winning it ala Roddy Piper or Jake Roberts.

I agree, but I like his feud with Benoit even better than the DDP one. Also, I think he should have been WCW WH champion. WCW has been (rightly) criticised for keeping old guys at the top of the card whilst not pushing the younger ones....well I think Raven should have been higher up the card.

Raven is 1 of the best of all time for a lot of reasons. His WCW theme... one of the top 10 themes EVER, his unique gimmick was so different from anything else in the history of the business, thats 100% top 10 too. And he's one of the only guys to win championships in all 4 core promotions in the USA that existed during his career, WCW, ECW, WWF/E, and TNA.

He was vastly under used...a great mind that even the best mind in the business(Dusty Rhodes) said he Scott could book any show easily or be a champion anywhere.
