Joseph Almonte dude they‘re literally getting like 5 movies or so with the main person being a hufflepuff. Our representation is an outsider girl, a teacher that can absolutely nothing, a teacher with voldemort on the back of his head, cho chan, and trelawney. But tbh no one does NOT want to be a ravenclaw, I mean griffindore is boring since every main character is there, slytherin is „the bad house“ in j.k.‘s eyes, hufflepuff is „where the rest belongs“ and ravenclaw............. who doesn‘t want to be called smart?

When I have the money, I want to make my room look like the Ravenclaw common room. Hang blue and bronze banners, add bookshelves, make my carpet midnight blue, have an eagle shaped door knocker outside my door, have a blue four poster bed, paint stars on the ceiling, and to make it seem like they're glowing, tape unused blue Christmas lights. I'd never leave my bedroom ever again.

I'm a Ravenclaw... but I'm not really a bookworm. But the music really spoke to me. I love the flute. The crumbling of wood in the fire makes chills go down my spine. I love mystical and magical things, like a forest. A deep, deep forest. The music really represented an enchanted forest. It makes me feel like I'm home. I've cried a lot of times because I just wanted this place to exist. Maybe in the future, but I'm sure I won't be alive.

currently studying, i'm coming back in 9 months to tell you if i'll be a doctor or not :) UPDATE : TYSM for your comments !! it really helped me going through this year of hard work ! To give you some context, if you want to be a med doctor in France, you have to go through one year of university (it's called "PASS"), and if you're among the 20% best student, you go to med school, and you are 100% sure that you'll become a doctor in about 10 years ! AND I WAS AMONG THE 20% !! I WILL BECOME A DOCTOR, I can't believe this, i'm so happy, this was my childhood dream and i succeed, i'm crying, thank you guys so much, you have no idea how your comments impacted me

A visualization to put you in Ravenclaw Tower: Read through this, then follow it. Close your eyes. Picture the tower as you imagine it. Now, take a deep, slow breath--suddenly, you are sitting in the middle of that scene. Find something around you to smell--smell memories bring a place alive to us the most. Breathe in again, smelling the air. Think of how a burning fire smells (like a campfire)--you smell that. Sniff again--you smell something freshly baked. You smell the cracked spines of the books around you--let your mind fill with the smell of old musty books. You smell the faded, musty, comforting upholstery of the armchair you're curled in. Now, turn to listening. This is the easy part, because of the ambiance. Hear the rain on the window like it's actually behind you, at the window, in the small space of the tower. Hear footsteps walk across the room behind you, voices of some friends moving up the stairs. Hear the soft ruffle of the owl's feathers. Pay attention to your breathing--you are breathing in and out, methodically, deeply, inside the small space of the tower. Your breath sounds close. Now find something to touch in your visualization. It could be running your fingers along your stack of books (what do they feel like?), reaching out to feel the warmth of the fire (how hot is it?), feeling the weight of your body sinking slightly in the armchair, and feeling the slight gust of a breeze (is it cold or warm?)--the window isn't quite all the way shut. Find more individual things to feel in your visualization. Now, with your eyes still closed, turn your head and look around--you are in this space you've created with your senses. With your eyes closed, look out the window and see the nearby spires of Hogwarts. Far in the distance, someone flies by on a broom. You faintly hear the cheers of a Quidditch match. You'll go out and join them a little later on. A little flutter of excitement almost pulls you away from your studies, but not quite--you're in the middle of a fascinating bit of research! Pull your gaze from the window, find more things to see. Glance at the carpet (what color is it?), noticing the faded spots where it gets the most foot traffic. Catch sight of the clothing item (what is it?) flung in a corner, forgotten. Feel the cat suddenly rubbing across your legs, your attention turned there. Take one last look around--at the intricate mantlepiece, at the galaxy ceiling, at the heavy pleats of the drapes, and the sunlight making squares on the fabric. Now, open your eyes, and get right back into studying (or whatever you were doing). You are still in the tower. You just need to keep that feeling and that image in your head whenever you think of it, and when you lose it, take a moment to close your eyes and briefly visualize it again. Enjoy! Whenever I hear the Harry Potter score, I always feel like I've gone home. The series has been in my life for so long, it's got me through some of the hardest periods of my life. Sometimes I avoid re-reading this series because I know how oddly nostalgic and homesick it will make me feel, to the point where it kind of hurts, like I'm reminiscing in something, even though I've never actually known it. I was placed in Ravenclaw and it was honestly the best and memorable year full of "quidditch matches" and trying to get as many points for your house as you could...haha I think the 4th harry potter movie came out during that time too. It's mostly a bit tricky question, so for the students of the other houses it's pretty hard to get in. That's what I ment with riddle☺️

This is... Amazing! When I was a child, I was always the quiet academic kid. The kid who was best at everything (except for maths, I was the worst at that). I grew up in love with Harry Potter - then, for four years, I slowly became more and more anxious and conscious of others, and my grades dropped. Still one of the best students, but I wasn't being me. At 13, I was accepted into college - I'm now 15, close to the time I should be doing my exams. I hadn't read books for ages, hated studying, hated classes, couldn't sleep. But when I listened to this? I began studying, and loved it. I was inspired to read, read the day away. I loved learning again, and within five minutes, I had been lulled to sleep, and for once in a long time, got a decent amount of hours rest. I truly feel at home listening to this - like I should be basking in the afternoon light, studying, the scent of books calming me, the quiet chatter of Ravenclaws around me, friendly and willing to help. To me, Hogwarts is real. I will never grow out of it :) Edit: I'm 16 now, passed my GCSEs with flying colours and was instantly accepted into college again! (To continue on for another two years). I'm so proud to be a Ravenclaw 😊

I just tried shifting using the Raven Method and I kid you not, my head tilted gently to the side and it felt as if I was asleep on somebody’s shoulder. It was warm and it seemed to rise and fall as if it was moving with somebody’s breath. It seemed almost slightly faster than mine. My hands began to get very tingly too.

Last night as I finished writing my script and went to lay down for bed. y/n slowly stepped into the ravenclaw common room. it was a very open-plan gorgeous room, it perhaps could’ve been a ballroom. there were comfy-looking dark blue chairs scattered around with small wooden desks accompanying them. all that could be heard was the soft crackling of the fire and the quick scratching of quills which reminded y/n of hermione. what was strange was how much quieter it was than the gryffindor common room had been, the only voices that could be heard were quiet study whispers and an occasional first-year asking about a certain charm. it was truly one of the most beautiful common rooms she had ever seen.

I've listened to this at least a dozen times and I just realized the ripping of paper is when one of the students makes a mistake or is unsatisfied with their work and I'm taking Precalc and Trig online at the moment, and jeez do I feel a spiritual connection to that sound. But also it is really nice note to show that mistakes will be made and it is apart of the learning process.
