I find that if you attach command strips to the wall and let them sit a few hours, then attach what you want to hang, they work much better. Corn starch wont thicken unless it's boiling. You need to only add it to cold fluids, if you add it to warm/hot fluids, it will clump. Elmer's glue, Mod-Podge, or starch spray and water works as well for the ghosts. I loved everything you made. Glad KZbin recommended you channel.

A tip on the command strips is to wipe the wall with alcohol and then the package directions actually say to wait 24 hours before hanging anything on them, so I think that would’ve helped it not fall. Truly amazed and blow away each and every time you decorate. Great job!

Have you ever thought about using the play off of paper mache, that doesn't bring in bugs.. which is just pvc glue and water? That maybe stronger? Or make the shape of the head with clear hot glue, that could hold the head shape. I have not tried pvc glue and water on cloth or white school glue... but i would think it would hold.. cuz a thing sticky on kids clothes super hardens. Lol

When using cornstarch in cooking you add it to a little cool water, whisk and then add that mixture to your hot gravy or whatever..so i woukd bet if you took out some to whosk ot smooth then set aside, heat up the water super hot and whisknin the cornstarch mixture and it will thicken.
