To bleed a crystal bloom gets WILD! It is so epic!! You should really continue! The whole perspective of the first book completely changes once you learn some things later on 😉 I had the first book as 3.5 ⭐️ and then changed to a 5 ⭐️ after rereading!! It makes me so excited to see what she’s going to do with WTMH.

Sword of Kaigen was my favourite read of the year! So many good reads this year (as well as some not so good ones!) Some other favourites were The Kindred’s Curse Saga, Lady of Darkness and the Legacy series, Gods & Monsters series, Heavenbreaker, A Tale of Stars and Shadow series, the Poppy Wars trilogy, the Beartown trilogy and Intermezzo.

I don't usually recommend very many books but I just finished the best book I have read in last few years "Code Name Hélène" by Ariel Lawhon. This is based on a true story during WW2. It doesn't read like a biography. I keep pushing this book on everyone I know. If you're into stories about powerful women, love stories, spy thrillers, or just want to read about someone who actually changed history while wearing red lipstick, pick this up. It's the kind of book that sticks with you. My wife talked me into reading it and I am glad she did.
