If there's one song that didn't need an emo, somber acoustic version, it's this one.

Au contraire sir. Firstly, they don't look like two blokes to whom you would want to make that accusation to their face (be my guest). Secondly, the content of the song carries a longing in it that absolutely calls for this rendition. Great vocals and in particular restrained guitar that brings only what is needed and nothing else. Great to hear a version that genuinely does what a good cover should do - make you remember the great original song while bringing something new to the table.
