A bit ironic that the Vikings want glory considering they always win Dominion…or at least most of the time. Also, compared to the Ramiel story, this one is a bit more believable and doesn't raise that many questions about the lore. Well, at least questions that won't be answered until the new Egyptian hero comes out.

@@OkamiVtuber Yeah...would be nice for them to finally add the Wu Lin into the mix. From that story recap video, they should have taken the upper right area of the map. My hope is that when the next hero comes, and if it's a Mongolian hero I hope they will somehow make some connection to the Kensei Hero Skin, they will bring in the Wu Lin because the theoretical Mongolian hero would have conquered China and stopped their civil war and thus, they can finally enter the map...I hope.

To be honest, this story wouldn't be out of place in an Indiana Jones type film, which is likely intentional on the part of the writers.

Possibly. By the time of the Norse alone, the classic kingdom of Egypt had already faded from memory centuries prior, though Egypt itself was still around in a diminished capacity for more than a few centuries before being gobbled up by the Ottoman Empire after the downfall of the Byzantine Empire. Of course, since For Honor is set well over 1000 years after the Cataclysm, AKA the post apocalyptic event that caused the For Honor universe to split off from our own, Egypt was most likely decimated along with most of human civilization.
