I used to live in Cherokee AL and spent a lot of time in Crooked Oak community. I am an AL native and have had a lifetime full of disturbing paranormal experiences

I was in Bryce as a teenager back about 20 years ago. My great grandmother went there back in the 70s. It had a really bad reputation but I think all mental institutions were rough back then. When I found out I was going I was really scared because of it's reputation but it was actually a very nice psych hospital with great staff! I heard the old administration buildings, which were the original hospital buildings, were VERY painted!! There are still patients there but it's hard to get people put there is only for SEVERELY mentally ill!

Wouldn't have been a wendigo. Those are native to colder regions up north. What it should be is a not deer. Those are native to warmer regions like bama
