@Pittsburgh Girl Only an uneducated football fan would say something like that. I've been watching the Steelers for over 20 years. I've seen almost the entire rivalry between these two teams. Ravens and Steelers are the same team basically. As a football fan, you have to respect greatness. When it comes to the Browns, I hate them. When it comes to the Bungles, I hate them. When it comes to the Ravens, I don't like them, when the Steelers lose to them I'm pissed, but I still respect them because of the rivalry and the style of football. And if you talked to the players past and present, they respect each other too.

@Pittsburgh Girl And the die hard Steeler fans know how to show respect. You don't have to like them but you got to respect them. I've seen die hard Raven fans say the same thing about the Steelers. @Electric Football AFC North is always competitive, right now, the teams are very close, and certainly any of them can win the division, none of them look too impressive. The Ravens didn't look so great vs. Pitt, but Pitt tied Detroit, and got swept by the Bengals, but they didn't look so great getting whopped by LA, and the Browns are just foundering along. It is a bowl of mediocrity. Or parity.

4th quarter again!! See what happens when they let Big Ben call the plays instead? He put up 28 points in the 4th quarter when they let him call the plays a few games ago. I've been saying this every year. Every time they said "Big Ben was making the calls" the Steelers 9/10 times go straight down the field. Happens almost every single time. They should just let him do what he wants. He's obviously better than the coach. Ben passed Brady now in game winning drives

TJ Watt won the game for the Steelers on the Ravens 2-point conversion attempt. Watch the replay. The reason that throw was off line is TJ Watt was totally disrupting the passing lane. He's leading the league in sacks despite missing 2.5 games this year. He also won the game vs. Seattle with his overtime strip-sack. The guy is CLEARLY the DPOY this year. Unreal.

The pass that Diontae Johnson dropped before halftime was beautiful. The play before it for a first down was beautiful. Everybody wants to bury Ben Roethlisberger but if he had time to throw and receivers that would catch the ball and run the right routes they would be 9-3. He is still capable in any g8ven game of making passes that other starting quarterbacks in the NFL won't make in their entire career.

“If he had time to throw and receivers that can catch” could literally be said about any offense in the league. The blame has to go somewhere and in my opinion Diontae johnson is an awesome wr. He and najee harris carry the offense. If they struggle, the offense struggles. You could stick any starting qb on that team and they’d surely perform better than Ben. Hes just not very good and its pretty dumb to pick out two good throws and then blame the best receiver on the team for the qb’s struggles

THE OFFENSE KEEPS PUTTING THE DEFENSE BACK IN THE FIELD. AS SOON AD THE OFFENSE GETS THE BALL THEY TURN THE BALL OVER OR THROW A PICK. IF YOU KEEP PUTTING YOUR DEFENSE OUT THERE LIKE THAT WITHOUT THEM EVEN RESTING THEN THESE TYPES OF SEASON ENDING INJURIES WILL MOST LIKELY HAPPEN AND WILL HAPPEN. I FEEL SORRY FOR THE RAVENS DEFENSE SOMETIMES. THE OFFENSE IS NOT GOOD. AND CANT SCORE POINTS. ITS LIKE THE QB ONLY SEES MARK ANDREWS THE ENTIRE GAME.I MEAN MARK ANDREWS IS A TRULY RELIABLE TIED END. BUT YOU CANT TREAT HIM LIKE HE IS THE ONLY RECIEVER IN THE FIELD. OTHER TEAMS WILL FIGURE YOU OUT QUICK ASAP IF YOU ARE SOO ONE DIMENSIONAL. THAT'S ALL I GOTTA SAY ABOUT THE RAVENS. THANK YOU FOR READING MY COMMENT.

What I'm pissed about is the piss poor interception on the first drive. Should have been 3 or 7 points. The running game and short passes were working. Why did they have to change it up? Those 3 or 7 points would have made all the difference.
@Steve-pw7xm3 жыл бұрын
On that game-ending extra point conversion, if Andrews just keeps running hard towards to pilon rather than slowing down he easily makes that catch in stride and scores. Easy to see with hindsight but Andrews slowed down way too early there. Should have been running hard towards the pilon the entire time.

@thomasmcdonald11483 жыл бұрын
Gotta make that throw when it counts then your clutch but he didn't. He's better then a decent QB but I don't see the ravens winning the super bowl with him. Once he gets older and those legs don't run like they used too which is only a couple years away he will be over with bc he's not a pocket passer. Ben ran like crazy too but the Steelers knew his legs wouldn't last forever and made him a pocket passer before he became useless and gaurantee that's what's gonna happen to Lamar and mahomes. Look back at past Superbowls almost all of them were won by pocket passers not runners

But okay you can that if you want but when it happens I will make sure I save this post so I can come back and say I told you so.

At the same time, it took EXTREME luck on Lamar's part. He threw an INT and lucked into a false start call, then he fumbled the ball in the middle of the field and it fluttered to the sideline. Had it done what Friermuth's fumble did in the Lions' game, just hit the field and die, the game was done.
