That "naya laraka" is seriously preparing for the last decade. He lost both of his parents when he was around 12 years old and has been focusing solely on wrestling. Having said that, both of them are very good, but a country can send only one wrestler in a weight category to the Olympics. Dahiya was also a bit misfortunate as he had just recovered from an injury.

Stop making nonsensical claims! That M.P. wrestler is Shivani and Vinesh defeated her in national trials by 11-6. After that, Vinesh secured the Olympic quota at the Asian Olympic qualifiers in the 50 kg category. She also reached the Olympic gold medal bout without issues, as her weight was 49.9 kg on the 1st day. She missed by 100 grams only on the 2nd day. BTW, she defeated the reigning Olympic and World champion Yui Susaki on her way to the final. Susaki had never lost an international bout before and won the Tokyo Olympic gold without losing a point in the tournament! Shivani could never even imagine of achieving all that even in her dreams. Shivani can never be anywhere close to Vinesh in talent as well as in success at the international level. Vnesh is still the sole Asian Games gold medallist and the sole three-time CWG gold-medallist female wrestler from India.
