I had the privelage of meeting Ravi Sahab on a couple of occasions at the residence of Collector of Customs, Mr. Gehani who lived in the Custom Quarters near Five Gardens in Wadala. A very pious Swami Ramanandji of Sapt Sarovar Hardwar used to come stay at Mr. Gehani's residence and there Mr. Gehani would arrange music and bhajan chowkis for Swamiji. Mr. Ravi and Ms Minu Purshottam had performed on a couple of evenings for Swamiji. I am sure Swamiji blessed Raviji and many others immensely. A well wisher from USA

But we recently learnt that his final years were full of pain and sorrow caused by his son and daughter in law. No mention was made of the son in your interview. I have seen his 2 daughters in previous interviews who always come across as caring and very pleasant. I thoroughly enjoyed this programme.

I believe Raviji also had a son the youngest c called Ajay I hear no mention of him.in the 60 we were childhood companions.Raviji was always kind to us we learnt all his songs by heart!
