It's just funny how much the Beast crew makes the West crew look like a black hole of fun. It's mainly Brad. Brad is the LEAST charismatic person at Giant Bomb, ever. I liked him being around back in teh day because he was the guy who was into strategy games and could talk intelligently about Star Craft or whatever. But as soon as he took over the Bombcast it was unlistenable. I also feel like Jeff's interest in hijinks waned when Ryan Davis died.

@@JazGalaxy The thing is... these guys got into games "journalism"/reviewing because they love games and thought they'd be good at writing about them. And as the world changed around them they pivoted into a more character-driven website. Which I think totally works for them and is why it's pretty much the only video game website I visit almost daily. So I find it harsh to judge someone like Brad for not being a born entertainer. And even with all the exposure we get of them, they're still basically office workers with regular office job wages. I'd fucking hate it if people online were complaining about my tattoo work after my restaurant boss told me we'd be doing that now. Also, I honestly just like all of them. Including Brad being a great podcast host, singer and interviewer (too bad we haven't seen any of those in a while).
