These are steamed dumplings.
This is a dish of Chinese origin ….. but I make dumplings my way.
**For 24 to 30 Siu-Maï or Chumaï
- 150g pork loin
- 150g prawns
- 3 dried mushrooms
- 100g onion
- 20g ginger
- 1 garlic
- Pepper
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- About 150g Wonton sheets, dumplings or gyoza sheets.
- a few peas
- a few leaves of Chinese cabbage
- 1 tbsp sake or water
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
**For the sauce:
Rice vinegar and soy sauce, half and half
