Midnight prerelease at the local store for this set was so fun - every time someone played a Sharktocrab they'd announce it to the table and then you'd get this response from people around the store echoing "Sharktocrab! (Sharktocrab!)"

My favorite memory of this set was playing in the midnight pre release and being so tired that all my brain remembered was "23 spells" so i had 23 spells AND 23 lands and couldn't understand why I was losing lol

Sharktocrab is a fish but the new shark bois in Aetherdrift are sharks. But lions are cats…

They have since updated Sharks as a creature type and Sharks are NOT fish (They will not make everyone happy with this change)

Sharktocrab is also now a shark, at least. Which makes it a quasi-"Centaur Archer" (a creature whose subtypes match its name), if you count - to - as octopus.

Justicar's Portal can do a lot of things but they are all way too situational. There is no card worth blinking for an etb so you are left with a very situational answer to a removal/trick and a combat trick that only works if your creature would already trade. I tried it once or twice and it was just stuck in hand while I was getting drained by Ill-Gotten Inheritance or stomped by big Gruul things.

I am thinking the fountain. White is very strong in this format, and blue has pretty good control as always, might help splash a counter spell in a white black or white red deck

hey great vid as always one thing i noticed is this teaser joke while on vids like edsc there cool i personaly dont like them in a 'short' vid like this as u basicly see the same joke twice in a few minutes obviously only my thoughts and in no way something that ruins the viewing pleasure keep up the good work
